A tube stiffener for insertion into a plurality of radiator tubes includes a plurality of inserts and first and second connection strips. Each insert is configured to extend into at least one of the plurality of radiator tubes to strengthen the plurality of radiator tubes. The plurality of inserts include a first end and a second end and a tab projecting from each of the first end and the second end. The first connection strip is fixed to the tab on the first end and the second connection strip is fixed to the tab on the second end. Each of the connection strips connects the plurality of inserts to each other.

A piston assembly is provided for an unloader valve of an air compressor. The assembly comprises an unloader piston having a first bore of a first diameter, and a second bore of a second diameter which is smaller than the diameter of the first bore. The assembly also comprises a coil spring having a central opening, one end portion disposed in the second bore, and an opposite end portion extending into the first bore. The assembly further comprises a balance piston including a head portion sized to be disposed in the first bore, a first stem portion extending from the head portion and having a diameter smaller than the first and second bores, and a second stem portion extending from the first stem portion and extending into the central opening of the coil spring and having a diameter smaller than the first stem portion.

A baffle, for directing air within a compressor head, includes a first leg extending along a first direction, positioned proximate to a first valve of the compressor head, and a second leg extending along the first direction and substantially parallel to the first leg, positioned proximate to a second valve of the compressor head. A first portion of air from a first side of the first leg is communicated to a second side of the first leg beyond an end of the first leg. An aperture in the first leg communicates a second portion of the air from the first side of the first leg to the second side of the first leg. A turbulence and/or pressure fluctuation proximate the first valve is reduced by communicating the second portion of the air from the first side to the second side of the first leg.

An autolift-resistant piston assembly is provided for an air compressor. The piston assembly comprises an unloader piston having an interior chamber. The piston assembly further comprises a first coil spring for biasing the unloader piston to a loaded position when the piston assembly is installed in the air compressor. The piston assembly also comprises an inner member disposed in the interior chamber of the unloader piston and including (i) a body portion, and (ii) a tapered end portion extending from the body portion and facing an unloader air passage of the air compressor when the piston assembly is installed in the air compressor.

Various embodiments of a crankshaft assembly with an insert are disclosed. The crankshaft assembly for an air compressor comprises a crankshaft with a first segment; a second segment having an outside diameter and a cavity extending into a distal end. The cavity comprises a first portion having a first inner diameter; and a second portion having a second inner diameter, wherein the second inner diameter is less than the first inner diameter. The crankshaft includes a linear passage in the second segment, wherein the linear passage does not intersect the cavity. The crankshaft assembly includes an insert having a first end with a first insert diameter and a second end having a second insert diameter, wherein the insert is sized to be matingly engaged in the cavity.
