A cache management subsystem (CMS) for a network having network gateways logically organized into network gateway (NG) subsets, each NG subset comprising redundant network gateways and each network gateway comprising a local cache configured to store cache entries corresponding to information requests from network users. The subsystem includes (i) a cache manager configured to synchronize certain cache entries between the network gateways of an NG subset and (ii) a CMS cache configured to store, for the NG subset, other cache entries that are not synchronized between the network gateways of the NG subset. In certain implementations, the cache manager synchronizes within NG subsets recent cache entries having relatively frequent hits and the CMS cache stores recent cache entries having relatively infrequent hits, thereby increasing efficiencies if and when a redundant network gateway handles requests for a failed network gateway.

System and method for cache synchronization among network gateways in networks such as software defined networks

A method and system for identifying and mitigating interference caused by a rogue User Equipment (UE) in a Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) communication network is disclosed. The method includes detecting interference caused by the rogue UE to at least one UE from a set of UEs associated with a Li-Fi access point in the Li-Fi communication network. The method further includes assigning a unique first transmission channel to each of the at least one UE in response to detecting the interference. The unique first transmission channel assigned to each of the at least one UE is distinguishable from a second transmission channel associated with the rogue UE. The method further includes scheduling data transmission from each of the at least one UE to the Li-Fi access point based on the associated unique first transmission channel.

Method and system for managing interference caused by rogue user equipment Li-Fi communication network

A method and system for managing interference between transmission sources in an Optical Camera Communication (OCC) network is disclosed. The method includes receiving interference information associated with a set of transmission sources. Each of the set of transmission sources include a set of light sources configured to display one of a plurality of colors. The method further includes assigning a unique guard band to each of the set of transmission sources. The method includes sharing details of the unique guard band assigned to a first transmission source within the set of transmission sources with the camera. The camera is configured as the receiver of the first transmission source. The method further includes instructing the camera to accept data transmitted by the first transmission source based on the assigned unique guard band and drop data transmitted by the remaining set of transmission sources.

System and method for managing interference in optical camera communication based network

This disclosure relates to system and method for managing cache data in a network through edge nodes. The method includes receiving set of first node parameters, set of Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) node association metrics, and set of data request parameters from the user device; identifying a variation in at least one of the set of first node parameters, the set of MEC node association metrics, and the set of data request parameters; selecting a second edge node from the plurality of edge nodes to store the cache data based on a set of second node parameters, the set of MEC node association metrics, and the set of data request parameters, when variation is above predefined threshold; associating the second edge node with the user device to store the cache data for the user device; and dynamically managing cache data for the user device in the second edge node.

Method and system for managing cache data in a network through edge nodes

A method and system for managing interference between a set of Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) access points is disclosed. The method includes receiving a plurality of uplink data frames. Each of the plurality of uplink data frames includes a response that includes one of an Acknowledgement (ACK) and a Negative Acknowledgment (NACK) for the associated downlink test frame and a Channel Quality Indication (CQI) for the associated Li-Fi access point. The method further includes detecting presence of the User Equipment (UE) in an interference region of the set of Li-Fi access points. The method includes attaching the UE with a first Li-Fi access point having the highest CQI and scheduling data transmission from the set of Li-Fi access points in a mutually exclusive time slot. The UE accepts data received from the attached Li-Fi access point and drops data received from remaining set of Li-Fi access points.

System and method for managing interference in Li-Fi communication networks

A method and system for identifying and mitigating interference caused by a rogue Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) access point in a Li-Fi communication network is disclosed. The method includes detecting interference caused by the rogue Li-Fi access point in a first set of Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) from a plurality of LEDs within the Li-Fi access point. The plurality of LEDs is arranged in a predefined pattern within the Li-Fi access point, and wherein a coverage area associated with the Li-Fi access point is equally divided amongst the plurality of LEDs. The method further includes disabling data transmission from the first set of LEDs in response to detecting the interference. The method further includes enabling data transmission from a second set of LEDs from the plurality of LEDs. The second set of LEDs is unaffected by interference caused by the rogue Li-Fi access point.

A method and system for identifying and mitigating interference caused by a rogue transmission source in an Optical Camera Communication (OCC) network is disclosed. The method includes receiving information from a plurality of transmission sources. Each of the plurality of transmission sources is within a capture area of a camera. Each of the plurality of transmission sources comprises a set of light sources configured to display one of a plurality of color codes. The method further includes detecting, through the camera, an interference between a serving transmission source associated with the camera and a non-serving transmission source. The serving transmission source belongs to the plurality of transmission sources. The method further includes establishing the non-serving transmission source as the rogue transmission source, when the non-serving transmission source is not registered with a master coordinator within the OCC network.

Method and system for managing interference caused by rogue node in optical camera communication network

A method and a system for improving efficiency of a bi-directional optical camera communication between a first OCC device and a second OCC device are disclosed. In an embodiment, the method may include estimating, by a first OCC device comprising a first display device and a first camera device, a first transmission parameter with respect to the first display device and a first reception parameter with respect to the first camera device. The first reception parameter is based on a second transmission parameter of a second OCC device or a channel condition parameter, and the second transmission parameter is derived from an analysis of information captured by the second OCC device from the first OCC device. The method may further include dynamically modifying, by the first OCC device, the first transmission parameter based on the first reception parameter in order to maximize throughput of OCC.
