An antenna includes a dielectric layer, a conductive ground layer formed on a first main surface of the dielectric layer, and radiation elements formed on a second main surface of the dielectric layer and are conductive. The first radiation element includes a first non-uniform width part that has a width in a direction parallel to a first side in a linear shape opposed to a first vertex, and the width of the first non-uniform width part gradually decreases in a direction from the first side to the first vertex. The second radiation element includes a second non-uniform width part that has a width in a direction parallel to a second side in a linear shape opposed to a second vertex, and the width of the second non-uniform width part gradually decreases in a direction from the second side to the second vertex.

Wiring and a wiring path of a feed line for feeding power to a radiation element is simplified. An array antenna includes a first conductive pattern layer, first dielectric layer, conductive ground layer, second dielectric layer, second conductive pattern layer, third dielectric layer, and radiation element pattern layer that are layered in this order. The radiation element pattern layer includes radiation element pairs arranged in a two-dimensional array pattern. Each of the radiation element pairs includes a first radiation element and a second radiation element arranged side by side with an interval therebetween. The second conductive pattern layer includes branch feed lines arranged in a two-dimensional array pattern to correspond to the radiation element pairs, respectively. The first conductive pattern layer includes feed lines corresponding to the branch feed lines, respectively.

Array antenna

An antenna device includes line-shaped feeding conductors arranged so as to face each patch antenna array and performing electromagnetic coupling feeding on each of the patch antennas, from a wiring-side feeding portions formed at a position intersecting a slot when viewed from the normal direction of a first surface. The patch antennas include an electrode which is arranged so as to face the wiring-side feeding portion, between two radiation elements arranged apart in the first direction, and is electromagnetically coupled from the wiring-side feeding portion. The electrode and each of the two radiation elements are electrically coupled in the first direction.

Antenna device

Patch antennas include four radiation elements arrayed in a rectangular lattice pattern at four positions around a feeding point in the electrode, and wiring which electrically couples each of the radiation elements and the feeding point with an equal wiring length, and is fed by a line-shaped feeding conductor arranged at a position intersecting slots formed at a ground conductor plate, where the feeding conductor has a repetitive branch pattern in which multiple pieces of line-shaped wiring are connected in T-shapes being perpendicular to each other at a total of 2&#x2212;1 branch points from a base end to each of the tips, and each of the tips is bent in a same direction in the second direction from a terminal end of the line-shaped wiring to which the tip is connected.
