The disclosure provides a method in a vehicle and an apparatus for a vehicle for transferring playback of media content between a mobile device and the vehicle. The method comprises detecting the playback of the media content on the mobile device and retrieving the media content played back on the mobile device. Then, the retrieved media content is played back at the vehicle in synchronization with the playback of the media content on the mobile device. Next, a first message is sent to the mobile device instructing the mobile device to pause its playback of the media content. The disclosure provides a method and a mobile device for transferring playback of media content between the mobile device and a vehicle.

A method executable in a network node, capable of managing transmission of data transmitted over a unicast channel in a communication network from a plurality of M2M devices located in a broadcast service area is provided. Upon receiving a request to transmit collected data over the communication network via a unicast channel from a M2M device located in the first broadcast service area, the network node determines when to allow transmission of the collected data for M2M devices located in the first broadcast service area, on the basis of the network load of the communication network. The result is transmitted to the M2M devices located in the first broadcast service area, instructing at least one of these M2M devices when to transmit collected data over the unicast channel.

The disclosure provides a method () for inserting an advertisement into a video stream of an AoD service. The method is performed by an AoD processing device and includes steps of: acquiring (S), from the AoD server, advertisement configuration information; determining (S) an advertisement to be inserted based on the advertisement configuration information; receiving (S), from the AoD server, a notification that a triggering condition for inserting an advertisement is satisfied, the triggering condition being associated with an interaction between the AoD server and a client device to which the AoD service is provided; transmitting (S) to the AoD server an instruction to cause the AoD server to render a combined picture of the application and the advertisement based on the advertisement configuration information; and receiving (S), from the AoD server, the combined picture and converting it into a frame in the video stream for transmission to the client device.

Methods and apparatus are described that provide a mechanism for transferring and/or synchronizing playback of media content from one media device to another in a seamless fashion. A media devicemay be arranged to detect playback of media content from another media device. The media devicecaptures a portion of the media content being played back and identifies the captured media content and content provider. The media device downloads or streams the identified media content from the content provider, while also synchronizing playback of the identified/downloaded/streamed media content on the media devicewith the playback of the media content on the other device. The media content may be embedded with a digital watermark for identification of the media content and the content provider. A machine-to-machine platformmay assist in identifying the media content and content providerfrom the captured media content.

A Music Playlist is received from a mobile device and is sent to Application in the M2M Network Node. When the first primary device determines (3:2) that the secondary device is located within the limited area, based on the received triangulation information, it sends (3:4) identity information of the first user to the secondary device.
