A method and a system for detecting defects in solar panels. The method includes collecting an image dataset of infrared images of the at least one mounted and operational solar panel; applying the image dataset to a YOLOS-PV convolutional neural network; converting the image dataset to a set of patches; applying position embedding to each patch and generating a set of position embedded patches; applying the set of position embedded patches to a transformer block encoder; generating a set of detection tokens; applying the set of detection tokens to an array of multi-layer perceptron (MLP) heads; classifying defects in the position embedded patches; setting, by the MLP heads, a plurality of Bpred bounding boxes for each of the set of position embedded patches; and identifying a solar panel in need of repair based on the defects in the set of position embedded patches and the plurality of Bpred bounding boxes.

Method and system for detecting defects in solar panels

A method and a system for performing crowd management in a religious site includes receiving registration information from a plurality of pilgrims, including mobile numbers for receiving text messages. The method includes periodically capturing, by a plurality of surveillance cameras, camera view images for views of each camera of respective portions of the religious site. The method includes automatically estimating a number of pilgrims in each camera view image using an Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithm. The method includes automatically detecting a percentage of mobile numbers of pilgrims occupying overcrowded areas and sending text messages to the detected percentage of mobile numbers that direct the pilgrims to different areas where the camera view images have low crowd density.

Method and system for crowd management in religious sites

A turbine blade for a wind turbine, the turbine blade has a blowing and suction provision in form of a plurality of arrays of blowing and suction holes defined on a curved suction surface of the turbine blade. An apparatus for turbine blade testing includes the turbine blade. The apparatus also includes a wind tunnel, a blowing source, and a suction source. The wind tunnel includes a wind channel having first and second end plates for mounting the turbine blade. A method of testing air flow in a turbine blade involves changing holes used for blowing and suction and determining a momentum coefficient for those various holes; and varying angle of attack with measurement of lift/drag ratio.

A system, device, and a method for determining a compound content in transformer oil are provided. The method includes positioning a syringe filled with transformer oil in the device to transfer the oil to a vial using the device. The device includes a stand, a threaded rod, a handle, a disc, and a syringe holder. The threaded rod is movable in a vertical direction by rotation of the handle and is configured to apply pressure via the disc on a plunger of the syringe positioned in the syringe holder to maintain an airtight connection between the vial and the device. The compound content is determined using a gas chromatograph by analyzing an aliquot extracted from a headspace gas of the vial.

An apparatus for measuring the rate of CuS formation in power transformers comprising a sealable transformer vessel and a sealable lid with at least four sealable ports, and an internal apparatus configuration involving a copper metal sheet, a power transformer, a temperature sensor, and a weighing device providing real-time feedback data, whereby these components are submerged in an effective amount of a reactive sulfur-containing transformer oil and sealed. An inert gas atmosphere is provided within the transformer vessel by a gas bubbler. The transformer oil is heated with a heating bath to a reactive temperature for CuS production. A method of measuring the rate of CuS formation whereby the apparatus is purged with an inert gas, heated to a reactive temperature, examined for CuS formation, the CuS produced is quantified and the rate of formation of CuS is calculated.

The multi-phase flow metering system facilitates the measurement of the flow of oil, gas, and/or other materials from one or more producing petroleum wells. The system has an expansion chamber to separate liquid and as phases. The gas rises through a pipe extending from the top of the expansion chamber. Liquids flow from the bottom of the expansion chamber through a generally U-shaped line having a sediment trap therein. Separate metering devices are provided in the gas outflow line and in the liquid line for accurately measuring the flow of each phase, and in the inlet line for measuring temperature, pressure, and flow at that point. The system includes float valves at the inlet to the gas outflow line and at the liquid phase outlet to control flow through the system. The gas outflow line may continue as a separate line, or reconnect to the liquid outflow line.

The hybrid solar air-conditioning system includes an air intake having an air drying system that uses a liquid desiccant to dry ambient air, a desiccant regeneration system that uses a heat exchanger having oil heated by solar energy to remove water from the desiccant, an indirect evaporative air conditioner that uses an air-air heat exchanger to cool the dried air indirectly with evaporatively cooled air, a distilled water recovery system to recover water from the desiccant and from the evaporatively cooled air in the form of distilled water, and a microprocessor-based controller to control room temperature and relative humidity, and to regulate air intake and the flow of desiccant and oil in the system. The hybrid system enables the use of evaporative cooling in regions having high humidity.
