Two-part cyanoacrylate/free radical curable adhesive systems are provided.

Disclosed is an adhesive composition, comprising: (A) a silane terminated oligomer; (B) a (meth)acrylate monomer; (C) optionally a (meth)acrylate oligomer; (D) a photoinitiator; and (E) optionally an organometallic catalyst. The adhesive composition is both ultraviolet curable and moisture curable. Also disclosed is a method of applying the adhesive composition, comprising: (i) coating the adhesive onto the substrate to be bonded; (ii) laminating or stacking the substrate to be bonded to form an assembly; (iii) irradiating the assembly by ultraviolet irradiation; and (iv) placing the assembly under the room temperature. The adhesive composition is useful in display panels, touch panels and optical devices.

Thermally resistant anaerobically curable compositions

This invention relates to cyanoacrylate-containing compositions that include, in addition to the cyanoacrylate component, a rubber toughening component, which is substantially clear and colorless and which is substantially free of release agents and anti-oxidants known to impair the fixture speeds and shelf life stability of cyanoacrylate compositions to which they are added. As a result, the inventive rubber cyanoacrylate adhesive compositions demonstrate improved properties, such as fixture speed, strength and shelf life under accelerated aging conditions.

Toughened cyanoacrylate compositions

The present invention relates to cyanoacrylate compositions in non-flowable and gel forms. More particularly, the present invention relates to non-flowable cyanoacrylate compositions which can be packaged in a convenient pocket-sized applicator dispenser for use in spreading the cyanoacrylate compositions onto substrates.
