An injection device and method for producing at least one metallic glass part, in which a vertical piston is able to move in a vertical direction, a top end portion of the piston being suitable for being engaged in an injection chamber of a mould linked to a cavity of this mould and open at the bottom; the piston having a top end face on which an element made from metallic glass to be introduced into said chamber can be positioned, the top face of the piston having a concave shape suitable for receiving a bottom portion of the element made from metallic glass. A heating means situated under the mould comprises induction coils, such that, when the piston is in an intermediate position, the majority of the metallic element is situated in the space surrounded by the induction coils.

Injection device and method for producing at least one metallic glass part

A device and method for producing metal slugs, in which: a movable support has a plurality of cavities separated by partition walls, such that the cavities travel over a path, a feeding means is positioned above a location on said path and is capable of forming a stream of molten metal, flowing under the effect of gravity, such that, during the continuous movement of the movable support, the continuous stream of molten metal from the feeding means is divided or fragmented into slugs formed successively in said cavities, under the effect of said partition walls.

Device and method for producing metal slugs

The detection device comprises a cold finger which performs the thermal connection between a detector and a cooling system. The cold finger comprises at least one side wall at least partially formed by an area made from the amorphous metal alloy. Advantageously, the whole of the cold finger is made from the amorphous metal alloy.

Detection device comprising an improved cold finger

The detection device comprises a cold finger which performs thermal connection between a detector fitted on a cooling plate and a cooling system. The cold finger comprises at least one side wall at least partially formed by an area made from the hafnium-based amorphous metal alloy. Advantageously, the whole of the cold finger is made from the hafnium-based amorphous metal alloy.

Cooling device comprising an improved cold finger

A method for removing a part from a mold and to a machine for molding the part, the part made of a material having a glass-transition temperature and a melting temperature that is higher than the glass-transition temperature, and which is shaped in the cavity of a mold, includes at least two mold portions defining the shaping cavity therebetween. The mold is at a temperature between the glass-transition temperature and the melting temperature. The method includes opening the mold by spacing apart the mold portions, locally spraying a cooling gas toward the part remaining in a portion of the mold using at least one nozzle, and, after a predetermined time period following the start of spraying the gas, ejecting the part from the portion of the mold, the time period being such that the part reaches a temperature that is lower than the glass-transition temperature thereof.
