The disclosure relates to compositions comprising (a) at least one sucrose ester; (b) at least one nonionic polysaccharide thickening agent; (c) at least one cationic surfactant; (d) at least one emulsifier chosen from fatty alcohols, esters, or a combination thereof; (e) optionally, at least one C-Cpolyol chosen from diols and triols; and (f) optionally, at least one fatty compound. The compositions can be used as leave-in compositions for styling the hair. The disclosure also relates to kits comprising the compositions and methods of using the compositions.

The instant disclosure relates to hair cosmetic compositions that include a cationic vinylpyrrolidone copolymer, an acrylate-based polymer, a cationic guar polymer, a cationic surfactant, including a cationizable surfactant, an amino functionalized silicone, a plant-based fatty compound, a fatty alcohol, an ester, and cosmetically acceptable solvent. Methods for using such hair cosmetic compositions are also provided.

Hair cosmetic compositions containing cationic compounds, acrylate-based polymers, fatty compounds, and aminofunctionalized silicones

The instant disclosure relates to hair cosmetic compositions that include a cationic vinylpyrrolidone copolymer, a cationic thickening agent comprising at least one unit derived from acrylic or methacrylic acid, a cationic surfactant, including a cationizable surfactant; a fatty alcohol, present in an amount of not more than about 3 wt. %; panthenol, an amino functionalized silicone, a plant or vegetable oil, present in an amount of not more than about 4.5 wt. %; and water. Methods for using such hair cosmetic compositions are also provided.

Hair cosmetic compositions containing cationic compounds, panthenol, and oils

Hair treatment compositions containing about 0.1 to about 8 wt. % of xylan or derivatives thereof; about 0.2 to about 23 wt. % of gluconic acid; about 2 to about 45 wt. % of sorbitol; and water, wherein all percentages by weight are based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. The weight fraction of the total amount of xylan or derivatives thereof to the total amount of gluconic acid is greater than 0.2 to less than 1. Example hair treatment compositions may form a film of xylan or derivatives thereof and gluconic acid on an individual's hair after the hair treatment composition has been rinsed from the hair. Methods for producing and using such hair treatment compositions are also provided.
