Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for applying pre-filtered DFT-s-OFDM. One method includes receiving, at a device, an indicator indicating to apply pre-filtered discrete Fourier transform (DFT) spreading orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) (DFT-s-OFDM) for transmission of at least one signal, reception of the at least one signal, or a combination thereof. The method includes, in response to the indicator indicating to apply the pre-filtered DFT-s-OFDM for transmission of the at least one signal, applying a filtering operation in a transmission chain before a DFT operation. The method includes, in response to the indicator indicating to apply the pre-filtered DFT-s-OFDM for reception of the at least one signal, applying the filtering operation in a reception chain after an inverse DFT (IDFT) operation.

Applying pre-filtered DFT-s-OFDM

Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for determining a precoder for wireless communications. An apparatus is configured to determine a precoder for a set of modulation symbols representing at least two distinct multiplexed streams of information. The precoder includes a plurality of codewords and is configured to reduce an ensemble interference and a pairwise interference for the plurality of codewords. The apparatus is configured to precode the set of modulation symbols based on the precoder and map the precoded set of modulation symbols to a set of resources. The apparatus is configured to generate a non-orthogonal multiplexed channel for access to the resources by overloading the set of modulation symbols at a transmission rate that is greater than a Nyquist rate and transmit an indication of the precoder and the set of resources.

Determining a precoder for wireless communications

Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for configuring a sensing reference signal. One method includes receiving, at a first device, configuration information from a second device. The configuration includes: a set of sensing reference signal sequence generation parameters; a set of sensing reference signal resource pattern parameters, wherein a pattern corresponding to the set of sensing reference signal resource pattern parameters includes time domain locations of symbols within a sensing reference signal, frequency domain locations of resource elements within the sensing reference signal, or a combination thereof; and information indicating to map a generated sequence based on the pattern on at least one antenna to create a sensing reference signal pattern. The method includes generating a sensing reference signal. The method includes transmitting and/or receiving the sensing reference signal according to the configuration information.

Configuring a sensing reference signal

The method includes receiving a second configuration from the second device. The method includes, in response to receiving the second configuration: multiplexing the set of sensing reference signal patterns with other physical channels and signals; in response to being scheduled, transmitting the multiplexed set of sensing reference signal patterns; in response to being scheduled, receiving the multiplexed set of sensing reference signal patterns. The method includes receiving a third configuration from the second device. The third configuration indicates to perform measurements on received sensing reference signals and feedback a measurement report.

An apparatus includes a transceiver that transmits a radio sensing capability report to a network node of a mobile wireless communication network in response to a capability indication request configuration received from the network node. The transceiver receives, from the network node, configurations defining at least one sensing reference signal ('RS') pattern, a sensing task, and a sensing RS mode based on the radio sensing capability report. The apparatus includes a processor that executes, based on the configurations, one or more of the sensing task and interference management according to the sensing RS pattern and the sensing RS mode in response to the sensing task and the interference management being scheduled, respectively.

Sensing reference signal adjustments for user equipment participation

One apparatus includes a processor and a transceiver that receives a configuration from a network device, said configuration indicating at least one of: a set of resources for model training, a type of intended model training, and combinations thereof. The processor selects a Joint Channel Equalization and Decoding ('JED') model from a set of models based on the received configuration. The processor trains the selected JED model using the received configuration.

The processor precodes the set of modulation symbols based on the determined precoder. The processor maps the precoded set of modulation symbols to a set of physical transmission resources for a transmission layer, wherein a number of modulation symbols in the set of modulation symbols is greater than a number of physical transmission resources in the set of physical transmission resources. The apparatus includes a transceiver that transmits, to a receiver node, an indication of the determined precoder and the set of physical transmission resources.

Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for precoding wireless communications. An apparatus includes a processor and a memory coupled with the processor. The memory includes instructions that are executable by the processor to cause the apparatus to precode a set of symbols over a set of resources using a transform precoder that constrains a search space of codewords to a unit hypersphere such that the transform precoder comprises a spherical codebook having an angular threshold distance between codewords and to combine the precoded symbols in a redundant manner such that multiple parts of precoded symbols are used to protect against loss of the set of symbols.

The processor (805) precodes a plurality of source information symbols over a set of available physical transmission resources using the determined transform precoder. The processor combines the precoded source information symbols using a redundant representation.
