Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for channel measurements for multiple uplink carriers in carrier aggregation (CA). A CA configuration may provide a first downlink carrier, a first uplink carrier, and a second uplink carrier. The second uplink carrier may be a supplemental uplink (SUL) carrier that does not have an associated downlink carrier in a same frequency band. A measurement downlink carrier may be configured and associated with the second uplink carrier, and measurements of a reference resource of the measurement downlink carrier may be used to determine transmission parameters of the second uplink carrier.

Techniques for channel measurements for multiple uplink carriers in carrier aggregation

Aspects are provided which allow a UE to defer HARQ-ACK reporting in PUCCH transmissions according to a configured HARQ-ACK codebook. In one aspect, the UE receives, from a base station, information triggering feedback for DL HARQ processes of the UE, the UE receives a RRC message configuring the feedback to be for less than all of the DL HARQ processes, and the UE reports the feedback based on the information and the RRC message. In another aspect, the UE reports feedback including a plurality of HARQ-ACK bits in a PUCCH, where each of the HARQ-ACK bits is associated with DL data, and at least one of the DL data is associated with a cancelled PUCCH transmission. The UE may also append to the feedback a HARQ-ACK bit associated with other DL data, where the other data is associated with another cancelled PUCCH transmission.

Additional details on reporting HARQ-ACK

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a set of frequency domain resources allocated to the UE for communicating data over a wireless channel. The UE may receive an indication of a waveform type associated with the set of frequency domain resources. The waveform type may be based at least in part on a data type of the data, may be used for a defined amount of time, and may be one of a plurality of waveform types that are multiplexed together over different frequency domain resources within a total system bandwidth. The UE may communicate within the set of frequency domain resources according to the indicated waveform type and the data type.

Mixed waveform communications

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first UE may receive an inter-UE coordination request from a second UE that requests a resource availability report. The first UE may generate the resource availability report indicating at least one slot that is determined to be available by the first UE based on one or more measurements associated with a plurality of sub-slots within the at least one slot. For example, the first UE may determine that a slot is available based on a reference signal received power value obtained from a measurement of demodulation reference signals associated with each of the plurality of sub-slots. The first UE may transmit an inter-UE coordination message to the second UE indicated the resource availability report.

Considerations on channel sensing for sidelink

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may monitor a set of sidelink resources for a first portion of one or more sensing windows in accordance with a monitoring pattern. The monitoring pattern may indicate a first portion of the one or more sensing windows or a second portion of the one or more sensing windows. The first UE may transmit control signaling indicating a result of monitoring the set of sidelink resources for the first portion. The first UE may transmit data to at least a second UE based at least in part on transmitting the control signaling. In some examples, the second UE, a third UE, or both may indicate a result of monitoring a third portion or a fourth portion of the one or more sensing windows.

Cooperative and coordinated sensing techniques for wireless communications systems

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In one aspect, a UE may report channel state feedback (CSF) to a network entity based on channel state information (CSI) measurements and CLI measurements. In another aspect, a UE may explicitly report CLI measurements to a network entity. In yet another aspect, a UE may report a signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) to a network entity based on CLI measurements, and the network entity may trigger the UE to perform further CLI measurements on signals received from other UEs based on the SINR. In yet another aspect, a UE may generate a report using CLI measurements based on whether the UE is allocated enough time to generate and transmit the report. In yet another aspect, a UE may identify a suitable priority for reporting CLI to a network entity.

Prioritization and timing for cross-link interference reporting

Systems and techniques are provided for performing wireless communications. In some aspects, a use equipment (UE) may receive a crosslink interference (CLI) training session configuration from a network entity, wherein the CLI training session configuration corresponds to a CLI training session for a plurality of UEs including the UE. The UE may determine a CLI feedback information associated with performing the CLI training session and may transmit the CLI feedback information to the network entity. The CLI feedback information may be indicative of CLI between the UE and one or more additional UEs.

Distributed cross-link interference (CLI) management

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration message configuring the UE to communicate coordinated transmissions with multiple transmission reception points (TRPs) using a first coordinated transmission mode of a set of different coordinated transmission modes. The UE may receive, based on the configuration message, downlink control information including at least one indicator and receive a first coordinated transmission communicated in accordance with the first coordinated transmission mode. The UE may transmit, in accordance with a feedback configuration corresponding to the at least one indicator and the first coordinated transmission mode, a feedback message for the first coordinated transmission to at least one of the multiple TRPs.

Feedback design for multi-transmission reception point transmission

Methods related to wireless communication systems and transmission and/or reception of synchronization signal block (SSB) transmissions are provided. In some scenarios, communications may occur in one or more full-duplex slots. For example, a wireless communication device receives a synchronization signal block (SSB) transmission schedule. The SSB transmission schedule at least partially overlapping with an uplink (UL) frequency portion of a full-duplex slot. The wireless communication device receives one or more SSBs, where the one or more SSBs are received in at least a slot different than the full-duplex slot or in a DL frequency portion of the full-duplex slot. Other features are also claimed and described.

Synchronization signal block (SSB) in full-duplex

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Sidelink communications between user equipments (UE)s may include services that demand low latency and high reliability, such as extended reality (XR) and ultra-reliable low latency communications (URLLC). Given the latency demands for XR and URLLC, XR and URLLC may be higher priority than other communications types. A UE may determine that data for transmission over sidelink has a high priority level based on a remaining packet delay budget associated with the data. UEs may monitor for sidelink transmissions in accordance with network configured discontinuous reception (DRX) cycles. The DRX cycles configured by the network for sidelink communications, however, may not match with the periodicity of XR traffic. For XR communications, the transmitting UE may indicate an offset to apply to a DRX cycle such that the receiving UE may adjust the DRX cycle to match the periodicity of the XR communications.

Support of low latency transmissions in sidelink

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE). In one aspect, a method includes determining that (1) a first scheduled sidelink transmission to a first receiving UE using a first set of component carriers and (2) a second scheduled sidelink transmission to a second receiving UE using a second set of component carriers will overlap in a time domain; determining that the first scheduled sidelink transmission has a first transmission time length and the second scheduled sidelink transmission has a second transmission time length, wherein the second transmission time length is shorter than the first transmission time length; segmenting the first scheduled sidelink transmission into a plurality of first sidelink transmission segments; and sending, to the first receiving UE, an indication of the plurality of first sidelink transmission segments.

Transmission alignment for mini-slots and mixed numerology component carriers

A method of wireless communication includes determining, by a user equipment (UE), that one or more symbols scheduled for reporting a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) to a base station for a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission include at least one invalid symbol, wherein the one or more symbols are located in a first slot or sub-slot; selecting, by the UE, based on one or more parameters of the SPS PDSCH transmission, a second slot or sub-slot, subsequent to the first slot or sub-slot, for sending a delayed HARQ-ACK for the SPS PDSCH transmission; and sending, by the UE to the base station, the delayed HARQ-ACK for the SPS PDSCH transmission on the second slot or sub-slot.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a set of one or more sidelink resources, and the UE may identify wake-up signal occasions associated with the resources. The UE may monitor for wake-up signals during the wake-up signal occasions, and the UE may further monitor the associated set of one or more resources based on receiving a wake-up signal. In some examples, respective sets of one or more sidelink resources may be associated with a number of multiple-input multiple-output layers used for sidelink communications, or may indicate respective bandwidth parts used for monitoring sidelink transmissions.

Power saving techniques for sidelink communication

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network entity may schedule multiple downlink control information (DCI) messages, which schedule multiple uplink messages to be transmitted by a user equipment (UE) on physical uplink channel resources, such that each of the multiple DCI messages arrive at least a specified time duration earlier than a start of an earliest of the physical uplink channel resources. The network entity may transmit the multiple DCI messages as scheduled. The UE may prepare to receive the DCI messages as scheduled. Numerous other aspects are described.

Downlink control information scheduling

To enable HARQ-ACK multiplexing on PUSCH in UL CA, methods, apparatuses, and computer readable medium are provided. An example method includes selecting at least one of a plurality of PUSCHs in which to multiplex one or more UCI bits, one or more of the plurality of PUSCHs being associated with one or more UL grants, the one or more UL grants including one or more UL tDAI values. The example method further includes transmitting, to a network entity, the one or more UCI bits that are multiplexed with the at least one of the plurality of PUSCHs.
