Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may select a resource pool, from a plurality of resource pools for physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) communications, based at least in part on a first parameter of a set of parameters. The UE may select a resource block, from a plurality of resource blocks within the resource pool, based at least in part on a second parameter of the set of parameters. The UE may perform a PSFCH communication via the selected resource block. Numerous other aspects are described.

Physical sidelink feedback channel resource selection

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques that may be used to help enable low latency communications between a user equipment (UE) and a base station (BS) using quick uplink channels that enable a reduced transmission time interval (TTI). An example method generally includes identifying a plurality of slots in a subframe, receiving a resource configuration for an uplink channel, wherein the resource configuration is associated with a first slot of the plurality of slots, determining a resource for transmitting the uplink channel in a second slot of the plurality of slots, wherein the resource is determined based on the resource configuration associated with the first slot of the plurality of slots, and transmitting the uplink channel in the second slot using the determined resource.

An example method includes performing sensing on one or more SL resources to identify a first set of available resources. The UE may identify a mode that specifies whether the first UE is to receive a communication outside of an on duration of the DRX cycle if the on duration is extended due to receiving sidelink control information (SCI) reserving a resource outside of the on duration. The UE may communicate in accordance with the mode. Numerous other aspects are described.

Power consumption optimization under discontinuous reception

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For example, a UE may determine a power control adjustment based on sidelink messages received from other UEs. The UE may transmit, to the other UEs, an indication of the power control adjustment to the other UEs. The other UEs may transmit additional sidelink messages in accordance with the power control adjustment, such that power levels of the additional sidelink message satisfy a threshold. A base station may indicate a power control adjustment to one or more UEs. For example, the base station may receive power control information associated with sidelink communications between a set of UEs. The base station may transmit an indication of a power adjustment parameter for a transmit power level for sidelink messages transmitted between two UEs of the set. The value of the power adjustment parameter may be based on the received power control information.

Power control techniques for sidelink communications

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a message indicating one or more communication patterns from a base station. The one or more communication patterns may indicate to the UE to adjust one or more parameters for transmitting an uplink communication during a set of time resources, a set of beams, a set of ports, or any combination thereof. During the resources indicated in the one or more communication patterns, the base station may estimate a cross link interference channel between the base station and a second base station. The one or more communication patterns may indicate a hopping pattern for each subband of a bandwidth part. The base station may configure the UE with a timing advance based on the message.

Signaling for inter-base station interference estimation

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for method for wireless communications by a first user equipment (UE), generally including receiving sidelink configuration information configuring the first UE with at least initial transmission occasions for initial sidelink transmissions using shared sidelink resources and transmitting an indication, to at least a second UE that uses the shared sidelink resources, that the first UE intends to skip at least one of the initial transmission occasions or one or more retransmission occasions scheduled for retransmission of an initial transmission.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Feedback information associated with decoding downlink information may be reported in a first stage and a second stage. A size of the second stage may be restricted by an upper limit associated with an available set of uplink resources for transmitting the feedback information. Limiting the size of the second stage may include reducing a size of second information generated for the second stage, yielding third information for the second stage. The third information may be transmitted with first information generated for the first stage. Limiting the size of the second stage may also include generating second information having a reduced size based on determining that the upper limit may be exceeded. The reduced-size second information may be transmitted with the first information.

Two-stage feedback procedures

A UE initiates a PUSCH transmission determination procedure if at least one of a first PUSCH overlaps with a second PUSCH in a transmission and a first PUCCH overlaps with the first PUSCH or the second PUSCH, or if the first PUCCH overlaps with at least one of the first PUSCH or the second PUSCH in the transmission and the first PUSCH and the second PUSCH are not overlapped with each other, the first PUSCH and the second PUSCH being associated with different uplink priorities. A UE may estimate a CLI channel state based on a ZP-SRS from a second UE. A network node may transmit to the UE, and the UE may receive from the network node, a CSI-RS. The UE may estimate a downlink channel state based on the CSI-RS from the network node. The UE may estimate one or more eCSF parameters based on the CLI channel state, the downlink channel state, two or more interference hypotheses, and at least one of a CPU specification, a timing specification, or a UE capability indication. The UE may transmit to the network node, and the network node may receive from the UE, an eCSF report based on the one or more eCSF parameters.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques generally support downlink transmissions. For example, a user equipment (UE) may receive a resource configuration for reception of a downlink transmission within a repetition window, the resource configuration including an indicator of a repetition window size for the downlink transmission. The UE may monitor, according to the resource configuration, one or more transmission time intervals (TTIs) of the repetition window for reception of the downlink transmission. In some cases, the downlink transmission may be a grant-free downlink transmission. Here, the UE may attempt to decode the grant-free downlink transmission during the one or more TTIs based at least in part on the repetition window size. Using the described techniques, the UE may efficiently determine one or more decoding parameters for the grant-free downlink transmission, thereby providing benefits in terms of latency reduction, power consumption, etc.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support various configurations that enable repetitions of physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission according to a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration. A user equipment (UE) may receive downlink control information (DCI) associated with a PDSCH configuration and an SPS configuration. The UE may determine a number of PDSCH repetitions for a PDSCH transmission (e.g., an SPS PDSCH transmission) based on a rule associated with a priority between time domain resource allocation (TDRA) entries and configured repetition factors in an SPS configuration or a PDSCH configuration. The repetition number may be included in the TDRA entry, and the UE may receive a number of PDSCH repetitions based on a value of the PDSCH repetition number, or one instance of PDSCH may be received in each SPS period.

Techniques for dynamically aggregating a physical downlink shared channel for semi-persistent scheduling

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for interference measurement and reporting in sidelink. One aspect provides a method of wireless communication by a first user equipment (UE), including receiving signaling indicating resources, within a sidelink resource pool, that are configured for sidelink interference measurement. The method further includes transmitting, to at least a second UE, a first interference report that is based on interference measurements taken on the indicated resources.
