Techniques described herein may include new and enhanced solutions for several aspects of inter-UE communications. For example, techniques described herein may provide inter-UE coordination techniques for different types of resource sets, sensing operations for inter-UE communication, and how UEs involved in inter-UE communication may be determined. In additional, or alternative, examples, techniques described herein may provide solutions for post-collision schemes, including how certain resource sets may be applied, whether and how to jointly transmit post-collision and pre-collision indications, and how to determine the resources for post-collision indication.

Inter-UE communication coordination and collision response

A user equipment (UE) is provided to implement a set of transmit power control (TPC) commands during a time domain window (TDW) including multiple physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions. The UE can receive a configuration from the base station to configure the UE to support a power control mode and a timeline measurement related to a PUSCH transmission. The UE can receive a set of TPC commands during the TDW, determine whether a TPC command of the set of TPC commands satisfies a time constraint based on the timeline measurement, determine an effective TPC command for the set of TPC commands based on one or more TPC commands satisfying the time constraint, determine an effective delay for the effective TPC command based on the timeline measurement, and further apply the effective TPC command to a PUSCH transmission determined based on the effective delay of the effective TPC command.

User equipment aggregation for downlink communications

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for enhanced positioning techniques using configuration and capability signaling in cellular systems. A method may include reporting, to a network node, an indication of one or more user equipment (UE) capability parameters associated with a processing procedure for positioning reference signal (PRS) bandwidth aggregation. The method may include receiving, from the network node and associated with the reported one or more UE capability parameters, a configuration for the processing procedure which supports multiple positioning frequency layer (multi-PFL) processing for aggregation of PRS resources across a plurality of PFLs and further supports one or more PFL groups comprising the plurality of PFLs to be configured on one or more component carriers (CCs). Additionally, respective PRS resources in respective PFL groups may share one or more common parameters and the method may further include performing, based on the received configuration, the processing procedure.

Configuration and capability signaling for enhanced positioning techniques in cellular systems

A user equipment (UE) associated with a wireless communication network is disclosed. The UE comprises one or more processors configured to form a sidelink group with one or more other UEs associated with the wireless communication network. In some aspects, the one or more processors are further configured to receive a sidelink (SL) groupcast message from a select UE of the one or more other UEs of the sidelink group, the SL groupcast message comprising a SL channel state information (CSI) request and a transmission of a SL channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS). In some aspects, the one or more processors are further configured to process the SL groupcast message; and selectively provide an SL CSI report derived based on a measured SL CSI, to the select UE, in response to processing the SL groupcast message.

Sidelink feedback enhancement

The present application relates to devices and components including apparatus, systems, and methods for partial sensing for resource selection, reevaluation, and preemption. In some embodiments: a UE receives configuration information for a resource pool; determines a type of traffic to be transmitted by the UE, the type to include aperiodic traffic or periodic traffic; determines, based on the configuration information and traffic type, first and second values to define a window for contiguous partial sensing; and performs contiguous partial sensing within the window.

Partial sensing for resource selection, reevaluation, and preemption

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a wakeup radio in a wireless communication system, e.g., in 5G NR systems and beyond. An RRC state is introduced to support a wakeup radio/, including defining transition mechanisms to/from existing RRC states. Further, signaling is introduced to activate a wakeup radio/activate an RRC low power state. Additionally, a bandwidth part framework for a wakeup signal is defined in which a base station may configure one or more time/frequency resources or a wakeup signal for a wakeup radio. In addition, various mechanisms are introduced to switch a wakeup radio on as well as to switch a wakeup radio off. Also, mechanisms are introduced for multiplexing multiple wakeup signals in a time/frequency resource, configuring a wakeup signal bandwidth, and configuring which beam a wakeup signal may be received on.

A base station is configured to determine a sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration that has a plurality of cyclic shifts for a comb 8 SRS, a plurality of user equipment (UE) ports for transmitting the comb 8 SRS and a mapping of the plurality of cyclic shifts to the plurality of UE ports. Systems for in-coverage sidelink positioning

A user equipment (UE) is configured to receive, from a serving base station, a configuration for a control resource set (CORESET) including two transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for a frequency resource, wherein a first TCI state is associated with a beam transmitted from a first transmission and reception point (TRP) and a second TCI state is associated with a beam transmitted from a second TRP, determine, for the beams transmitted from each of the first and second TRPs, respective one or more reference signal (RS) resources to monitor for radio link monitoring (RLM) or beam failure detection (BFD) and monitor the RS transmitted from the first TRP using the first TCI state and the RS transmitted from the second TRP using the second TCI state.

Radio link management, beam failure detection and default beam enhancements for high speed train deployments

In an example method, a user equipment (UE) device receives a slot of data from a base station (BS). The UE device determines a quality of a wireless channel between the BS to the UE device, including determining (i) a metric for a interval extending from a sequentially first symbol of the slot of data to a symbol immediately preceding the first subset of symbols, (ii) a metric for an interval extending from the sequentially first symbol of the slot of data to a sequentially last symbol of the first subset of symbols, (iii) a metric for an interval extending from the sequentially first symbol of the slot of data to a symbol immediately preceding the second subset of symbols, and/or (iv) a metric for an interval extending from the sequentially first symbol of the slot of data to a sequentially last symbol of the second subset of symbols.

Technologies in multi-PDSCH transmission in a wireless network

Systems and methods of a wireless communications system using signals not traditionally used for positioning purposes for positioning measurements in both uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) are described herein. A user equipment (UE) may generate a UE capability information message indicating one or more signal types that the UE can process for DL positioning measurements and/or that the UE can send for UL positioning measurements. The one or more signal types so indicated may include signals not traditionally used for positioning measurements. The UE may send, to the base station, the UE capability information message. The wireless communications system may then configure the base station and/or the UE to use such signal types with one or more positioning methods. In some embodiments, the base station may also indicate to the UE a subset of signals of an indicated type which should be processed for DL measurements/sent for UL measurements.

Using non-positioning signals for positioning in downlink and/or uplink

A user equipment (UE) is configured to perform channel estimation. The UE operates in a current channel estimation mode comprising either one of a first mode or a second mode, wherein the first mode comprises receiving first reference signals (RS) having a first RS overhead and wherein the second mode comprises receiving second reference signals (RS) having a second RS overhead, receives a network indication to switch from the current channel estimation mode to a new channel estimation mode comprising the other one of the first mode or second mode, transmits an acknowledgment to the network that the network indication was received and switches from the current channel estimation mode to the new channel estimation mode in accordance with the network indication.

Channel estimation using artificial intelligence

Systems and methods provide a channel state information (CSI) measurement based on measuring a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission. A user equipment (UE) triggers measuring of a CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) from a base station. The UE triggers measuring of a DMRS for a PDSCH transmission from the base station. The UE generates a CSI report to report the CSI measurement, based on both the CSI-RS and the DMRS for the PDSCH transmission. The UE may then send the CSI report to report the CSI measurement to the base station.

Systems and methods for PDSCH based CSI measurement

A base station may transmit a message to a group of user equipments (UEs), directing the UEs to change their respective bandwidth parts (BWPs). For each of the UEs of the group, the message may include a corresponding new BWP. In response to receiving the message, each UE of the group may switch to the corresponding new bandwidth part. The message may be transmitted as part of a group common DCI message. The UE may signal its required minimum guard band size to the base station. Alternatively, the UE may respond to the message with an acknowledgement message. The base station may configure a virtual common downlink BWP for the group of UEs. The UEs drop transmission/reception repetitions that occurs during its BWP switch delay period.
