According to certain embodiments, an electronic device comprises a housing; and a camera module disposed in an inner space of the housing and including: a barrel having an opening; and a plurality of lenses with aligned centers with an image sensor in an inner space of the barrel, wherein the plurality of lenses comprises at least one other lens and a first lens disposed closest to the opening and having a first outer diameter, wherein the first lens includes: a lens portion, forming an effective area of the first lens, the lens portion exposed to the opening; a connecting portion, forming a portion of an ineffective area of the first lens, extended from the lens portion and inclined at an angle in a first direction away from the lens portion; and a flange portion, forming another portion of the ineffective area of the lens portion, extended from the connecting portion in a second direction substantially perpendicular to a stack direction of the plurality of lenses, wherein the barrel includes: a head portion containing the opening and having a second outer diameter; a body portion extended from the head portion, accommodating the at least one other lens of the plurality of lenses, and having a third outer diameter greater than the second outer diameter; and an engaging portion formed in the inner space of the barrel and engaged with the flange portion, and wherein the first outer diameter of the first lens is greater than the second outer diameter of the head portion.

Electronic device including camera module

An electronic device is provided that includes a camera module that receives external light through a portion of a surface of the electronic device. The camera module includes a camera housing having an image sensor disposed on a bottom surface of the camera housing. The camera module also includes and a lens assembly. At least a portion of the lens assembly is disposed in the camera housing. The lens assembly includes a first lens, a second lens, and a spacer disposed between the first lens and the second lens. The spacer has an opening area formed therein. An optical axis passes through the opening area. The spacer is formed such that a first inner surface of the opening area and a second inner surface of the opening area are parallel to each other in a cross-sectional view that includes the optical axis.

Camera module and electronic device including the same

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing, and a camera module disposed in an inner space of the housing, wherein the camera module includes an image sensor and a plurality of lenses aligned with the image sensor, and wherein at least one of the plurality of lenses includes a first area formed to transfer at least a part of an external light to the image sensor and a second area including a light absorbing layer formed to absorb the at least a part of the external light and to penetrate from an outer surface of the lens into an inner space with a predetermined depth.

According to certain embodiments, an electronic device comprises a window member; a display panel stacked on a rear surface of the window member; a lens assembly; an iris; and an image sensor including an image plane configured to form an electronic signal representing an image formed by the lens assembly, wherein the iris is fixed with respect to the image plane, wherein at least a portion of the iris is located on a same plane as at least a portion of the display panel, and the iris is located closer to an object-side than an object-side surface of a lens closest to the object-side of the lens assembly on an optical axis.
