The electronic apparatus including a housing; a first door rotationally arranged on one side of the housing; a second door rotationally arranged on the other side of the housing; a first motor operationally connected to the first door; a second motor operationally connected to the second door; a first motor driver electrically connected to the first motor; a second motor driver electrically connected to the second motor; and a processor electrically connected to the first motor driver and the second motor driver, wherein the processor may control the first motor driver to drive the first motor to close the first door at a time different than a time the second door that is connected to the second motor driven by the second motor driver closes.

A refrigerator is provided. The refrigerator includes a main body including a door, a door opening device including a motor, and for opening the door using the motor, a proximity sensor, and a controller, wherein the controller is configured to detect whether an object exists within a first distance from a predetermined area of the refrigerator, identify whether the object is detected during a threshold time range, based on the object being detected during the threshold time range, identify whether the object is detected outside a second distance from the predetermined area, and based on the object being detected outside the second distance, control the motor to open the door.

Refrigerator and controlling method thereof

A refrigerator is provided. The refrigerator includes a body including a door, a door opening device including a motor, and configured to open the door through a rotation of the motor, a first sensor configured to sense an opening of the door, a second sensor configured to sense a position of the door, and a processor is included, and the processor is configured to control, based on a user command for the opening of the door being obtained, the motor to rotate at a first speed, control, based on the opening of the door being sensed by the first sensor, the motor to rotate by reducing speed in stages to a second speed which is slower than the first speed, and control, based on a position of the door being sensed in a first position by the second sensor, the motor to open the door to a second position by rotating at the second speed.
