An axial air gap motor comprises: a frame; a stator that is arranged in an outer side of the frame in a radial direction; a first rotor that is spaced from one side of the stator in an axial direction, that has an air gap therebetween, and that is rotatably arranged in one side of the frame; and a second rotor that is spaced from the other side of the stator in the axial direction, that has an air gap therebetween, that is rotatably arranged in the other side of the frame, and that is connected with the first rotor in the axial direction.

The present invention relates to a variable-flux motor comprising: a stator having stator coils; and a rotor disposed to be rotatable with respect to the stator with an air gap interposed therebetween, wherein the rotor comprises: a rotor core; a fixed magnet disposed along the radial direction of the rotor core, and of which one end portion is disposed adjacently to the air gap; and a variable magnet disposed inside the fixed magnet along the radial direction of the rotor core, and the variable magnet is formed such that a magnetic flux thereof varies when a preset current is applied to the stator coils. Therefore, use of an expensive permanent magnet can be excluded.

The rotor includes a plurality of rotor cores, a plurality of magnets magnetized such that magnetic flux is formed in the circumferential direction, the magnets and the rotor cores being alternately arranged in the circumferential direction, a coupler connected to a shaft, and a rotor frame formed by injection molding, the rotor frame being integrally coupled to the rotor cores, the magnets, and the coupler, wherein each of the rotor cores includes a pole shoe for defining a gap between each of the rotor cores and a stator and a rotor core body having a depression formed in the side opposite to the pole shoe in the radial direction, and portions of side surfaces of corresponding ones of the magnets located at opposite sides of each of the rotor cores are exposed by the depression to define an aperture formed in the circumferential direction.
