A connector includes a fixed contact, a movable contact that contacts with the fixed contact, a slide, a contact slide operated in association with a movement of the slide, a button that is pushed in accordance with the movement of the slide, the button including a lower portion, an upper portion, and a slant portion connecting the lower portion to an upper stage, and a card that moves the movable contact toward and away from the fixed contact in accordance with the movement of the button, wherein the contact slide contacts with the lower portion when the switch is in a turn-off state, contacts with the slant portion so as to push the button and cause the card to move the movable contact toward the fixed contact when the slide slides in one direction, and contacts with the upper portion when the switch is in a turn-on state.

Connector and switch

A connector configured to make a contact with an electrical apparatus includes a contact formed of a metal material; and a housing that houses the contact. The contact includes an exposed part that is exposed outside the housing, a contact portion provided in the exposed part and configured to come into contact with an electrode of the electrical apparatus, and a projecting part provided in the exposed part and positioned between the contact portion and the housing. The housing includes an exterior wall that forms a surface of the housing that faces the electrode. The exterior wall and the projecting part are configured to be in contact with each other when the electrode and the contact portion come into contact with each other to establish an electrical connection between the contact and the electrode.

Connector and method of connecting connector

A switch includes a fixed contact part including a fixed contact, a movable contact part including a movable contact, a control button, an operation part including a first end and a second end, and a lock. When the first end is pressed, the control button is pressed by the operation part, the movable contact touches the fixed contact, and the switch becomes an ON state. While the movable contact and the fixed contact are in contact with each other, a first protrusion of the lock touches an engaging part of the control button to limit movement of the control button and maintain the ON state. When the second end is pressed, the operation part touches a second protrusion of the lock and moves the lock in such a direction that the first protrusion moves away from the engaging part, and the switch becomes the OFF state.

A contact-terminal apparatus for use in measuring an electrical property of an object includes a first contact-terminal unit made of a conductive material to come in contact with the object, a movable part having a first surface on which the first contact-terminal unit is placed, and a pressure sensor situated beneath a second surface of the movable part, wherein the pressure sensor has a pressure detecting part that is in contact with the second surface of the movable part.

A switch device includes a first contacting portion including a first fixed contact, a first movable contact contactable to the first fixed contact, and a first break contact, the first movable contact being configured to selectively contact one of the first fixed contact and the first break contact; a second contacting portion including a second fixed contact, a second movable contact contactable to the second fixed contact, and a second break contact, the second movable contact being configured to selectively contact one of the second fixed contact and the second break contact; and a mechanical switch that mechanically moves the first movable contact and the second movable contact toward the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact, and toward the first break contact and the second break contact, respectively.

Switch device

A connector includes a connecting terminal, a fixed contact, a movable plate, a movable contact provided at an end of the movable plate, a card that includes an insulator and contacts the movable plate, a button that contacts the card, an opening spring connected to the button, and a sliding operation part that controls a contact between the fixed contact and the movable contact. When the sliding operation part is moved in a first direction, the movable contact is brought into contact with the fixed contact and the connector is turned on. When the sliding operation part is moved in a second direction opposite to the first direction, the movable contact is caused to move away from the fixed contact and the connector is turned off. The sliding operation part is provided on a surface that is different from a surface on which the connecting terminal is provided.

Connector and connector bar

A connector includes a terminal to be connected to a terminal of another connector, a fixed contact, a movable contact provided on one end of a movable plate, a card being in contact with the movable plate, a slide portion, a button that contacts with the card and is pushed down according to a movement of the slide portion, and a spring connected to the button and generates force in a direction of separating a contact between the fixed contact and the movable contact. One of the fixed contact and the movable contact is connected to the terminal. The button is pushed down and the card moves to move the movable plate to cause the movable contact to contact with the fixed contact when the slide portion moves in one direction, and the movable contact is separated from the fixed contact when the slide portion moves in another direction.

A connector includes a connecting terminal to be connected to another connecting terminal of another connector, a fixed contact, a movable contact provided at one end of a movable plate, a movable spring connected to the movable plate, and an operation part that moves according to an operation performed by an operator. The connecting terminal is connected to one of the fixed contact and the movable contact. The operation part applies a force to a part of the movable spring in a direction that is substantially parallel to a direction of a force applied to operate the operation part, and causes the movable contact to contact the fixed contact. The direction of the force applied to operate the operation part is substantially parallel to a direction in which the movable contact moves.

Connector

A connector unit includes a first connector configured to be connected to an electrical apparatus, the first connector including multiple power receiving terminals for receiving a supply of electric power; and a second connector configured to be connected to a direct-current power supply and mated with the first connector. The second connector includes multiple power feeding terminals corresponding to the power receiving terminals of the first connector and a switch member configured to be moved between a connecting position for electrically connecting the power feeding terminals and the direct-current power supply and a breaking position for breaking the connection of the power feeding terminals and the direct-current power supply.

Connector unit and connector

A connector includes a movable contact part formed of an insulating material, an electrically conductive movable terminal part, and an electrically conductive fixed terminal part. The movable terminal part and the fixed terminal part are caused to come into contact by the movable terminal part being pressed via the movable contact part by an electrically conductive plug electrode terminal of another connector after the plug electrode terminal inserted into a jack terminal opening part of the connector comes into contact with the movable terminal part, so that the plug electrode terminal and the fixed terminal part are electrically connected via the movable terminal part.

A switch device includes first and second contacting portions including first and fixed contacting portions and first and second movable contacting portions, respectively, the first fixed contacting portion and the second fixed contacting portion being configured to be electrically connected to one of a power source and an electronic device while the first movable contacting portion and the second movable contacting portion are configured to be electrically connected to the other of the power source and the electronic device; and first and second electric arc voltage suppression units configured to be electrically connected to the first and second fixed contacting portions and the first and second movable contacting portions for suppressing generation of electric arcs there between, respectively.

A switch device includes first and second contacting portions including first and second fixed contacting portions and first and second movable contacting portions configured to contact the first and second fixed contacting portions, respectively and provided to be adjacent from each other; and a magnet unit provided such that a first pole is positioned to face the first contacting portion and a second pole is positioned to face the second contacting portion to generate magnetic fields between the first fixed contacting portion and the first movable contacting portion and between the second fixed contacting portion and the second movable contacting portion, respectively.

A switch device includes first and second contacting portions including first and second fixed contacting portions, first and second movable contacting portions and first and second break contacting portions, respectively, the first fixed contacting portion and the second fixed contacting portion being configured to be electrically connected to one of a power source and an electronic device while the first movable contacting portion and the second movable contacting portion are configured to be electrically connected to the other of the power source and the electronic device; and a first magnet and a second magnet configured to generate magnetic fields between the first fixed contacting portion and the first movable contacting portion and between the second fixed contacting portion and the second movable contacting portion, respectively.

A connector includes a first connector and a second connector, wherein the first connector includes first contacts made of a conductive material, and a first movable part made of an insulating material, wherein the first contacts have respective first contact portions of a convex shape, and the first movable part is connected to the first contacts to be movable together with the first contact portions, wherein the second connector includes second contacts made of a conductive material, and a second movable part made of an insulating material, wherein the second contacts have respective second contact portions coming in contact with the first contact portions, and the second movable part is connected to the second contacts to be movable together with the second contact portions, and wherein the first contact portions and the second contact portions are configured to come in contact with each other, thereby establishing electrical coupling.

A switch device includes first and second contacting portions including first and second fixed contacting portions and first and second movable contacting portions, respectively, the first fixed contacting portion and the second fixed contacting portion being configured to be electrically connected to one of a power source and an electronic device while the first movable contacting portion and the second movable contacting portion are configured to be electrically connected to the other of the power source and the electronic device; a first electric arc runner provided near at least one of the first fixed contacting portion and the first movable contacting portion; and a second electric arc runner provided near at least one of the second fixed contacting portion and the second movable contacting portion.
