A signal transmission device for transmitting touch data and a display device using the same are disclosed. The signal transmission device includes a plurality of integrated circuits driving touch sensors and outputting touch data obtained from the touch sensors, a controller controlling the integrated circuits and determining a touch input on the basis of the touch data received from the integrated circuits; and a plurality of lines connecting the controller and the integrated circuits in a multi-point manner. The controller and the integrated circuits communicate with each other in both directions via the lines. A data packet of differential signal transmitted between the controller and the integrated circuits includes a header interval, a register address interval, and a data interval allocated between a start dummy clock and an end dummy clock.

Signal transmission device and display using the same

A touch sensing display device that compensates for common voltage differences. The display device includes a first touch channel, a second touch channel, and an integrated circuit. The integrated circuit includes a first input terminal to receive a common voltage and a second input terminal to receive a supply voltage, a first touch pad coupled to the first touch channel of the display device, and a second touch pad coupled to the second touch channel of the display device. The integrated circuit also includes a first touch driving circuit coupled to the first touch pad to generate a compensated common voltage based on the supply voltage and to output the compensated common voltage onto the first touch pad. The integrated circuit also includes a second touch driving circuit coupled to the second touch pad, the second touch driving circuit to output the common voltage onto the second touch pad.

Display device with common voltage compensation

A display device including a panel comprising a plurality of pixels, and a drive circuit configured to apply data voltage to the plurality of pixels through data lines is disclosed. In one embodiment, the drive circuit includes a first circuit block having a first recovery time from a power off state to an operational state of the first circuit block, a second circuit block having a second recovery time from a power off state to an operational state of the second circuit block, the second recovery time shorter than the first recovery time, and a control circuit configured to (i) enable the first circuit block and the second circuit block during a first time period, and to (ii) enable the first circuit block and disable the second circuit block during a second time period.

Touch sensor integrated type display device

A liquid crystal display is disclosed. The liquid crystal display includes a clock generator generating a first input clock signal and then a second input clock signal; a level shifter shifting the first and second input clock signals and generating clock signals whose voltages decrease stepwise from a gate high voltage, to a modulation voltage that is lower than the gate high voltage, to a gate low voltage that is lower than the modulation voltage; and a liquid crystal panel that includes data lines, gate lines intersecting the data lines, TFTs provided at intersections of the data lines and the gate lines, and a gate shift register sequentially supplying a gate pulse to the gate lines in response to the clock signals input from the level shifter.
