The present invention relates to a compressor comprising: a muffler that provides a sealed space for guiding a refrigerant; and a resonator provided in the muffler and forming cavities separate from the sealed space to decrease vibration and noise caused by the refrigerant.

A rotary compressor is provided that may include a cylinder having an inner circumferential surface with an annular shape to form a compression space; a roller having a plurality of vane slots disposed at predetermined intervals along an outer circumferential surface thereof, and rotatably inserted into the compression space of the cylinder; and a plurality of vanes slidably inserted into the respective vane slots to rotate together with the roller and by which the compression space is divided into a plurality of compression chambers. At least one of the vane slots is unequally spaced in a circumferential direction. Accordingly, periodicity of noise may be reduced to thereby increase the effect of noise reduction of the compressor.

The present disclosure relates to a compressor including a branch part for reducing vibration and noise caused by a refrigerant flowing inside a muffler by expanding an enclosed space formed by a compression part and the muffler in the direction of a rotation axis.

Disclosed herein is a scroll compressor including a casing, a drive motor arranged in the casing, a shaft coupled to the drive motor, a main frame arranged under the drive motor, a fixed scroll arranged under the main frame, an orbiting scroll arranged between the main frame and the fixed scroll and engaged with the fixed scroll to form a compression chamber with the shaft eccentrically coupled to the orbiting scroll, a discharge cover coupled to the fixed scroll to form a closed space, a discharge port formed in the fixed scroll to connect the compression chamber and the closed space, and a discharge hole passing through the main frame and the fixed scroll, wherein an inlet and an inner portion of the discharge hole have different cross-sectional areas. The scroll compressor can reduce the noise caused by movement of the refrigerant by improving the structure of the discharge holes.

A rotary compressor includes: a shell forming an internal space; a driving motor disposed in the internal space of the shell; a rotary shaft connected to the driving motor; a lower cylinder having a lower chamber for compressing a refrigerant and a lower roller disposed inside the lower chamber; an upper cylinder disposed on an upper side of the lower cylinder and having an upper chamber for compressing a refrigerant and an upper roller disposed inside the upper chamber; a muffler disposed on the upper side of the upper cylinder and receiving a refrigerant compressed in the upper chamber; and an intermediate plate disposed between the upper cylinder and the lower cylinder and having a rotary shaft hole through which the rotary shaft is disposed. The intermediate plate includes an opening formed around the rotary shaft hole and guiding a refrigerant compressed in the lower chamber to the muffler.

A compressor includes: a case including a discharge part configured to discharge refrigerant and defining a reservoir space configured to store oil; a drive unit including a stator and a rotor; a rotary shaft coupled to the rotor; a compression unit coupled to the rotary shaft and lubricated with oil, the compression unit being configured to compress refrigerant and discharge compressed refrigerant in a direction away from the discharge part; a muffler coupled to the compression unit and configured to guide refrigerant to the discharge part; a separator coupled to at least one of the rotor or the rotary shaft and configured to separate oil from refrigerant guided to the discharge part; and a coupling unit that fixes the separator to the at least one of the rotor or the rotary shaft.

The rotary compressor may include a case having an inner space, a stator to which power may be applied, the stator being disposed in the case, and a compression mechanism disposed on or at one side of the stator to generate a compression force of a refrigerant. The compression mechanism may include a rotational shaft, a cylinder that accommodates a roller coupled to the rotational shaft, a main bearing coupled a first side of the cylinder, and a sub bearing coupled to a second side of the cylinder. The main bearing may be press-fitted and fixed to an inner surface of the case.
