The display device including a display substrate including a plurality of subpixels respectively provided in a plurality of pixel areas defined by a plurality of data lines and a plurality of gate lines, a line substrate bonded to the display substrate by using a substrate bonding member and including a plurality of data routing lines, and a side data connection member provided on one side of each of the display substrate and the line substrate to connect the plurality of data lines to the plurality of gate lines in a one-to-one relationship.

Disclosed are a light emitting diode display device and a multi-screen display device using the same, which include a reduced or minimized bezel area. The light emitting diode display device includes a substrate including a first display area and a second display area outside of the first display area, a plurality of first unit pixels in the first display area, the plurality of first unit pixels each including a plurality of subpixels each including a micro light emitting device, and a plurality of second unit pixels in the second display area adjacent an edge of the substrate. A distance between the second unit pixel and an outer surface of the substrate is equal to or less than half of a reference pixel pitch at which the plurality of first unit pixels are arranged.

Light emitting diode display device and multi-screen display device using the same

There is provided a tiled display including: a plurality of display devices; a plurality of first magnets in contact with a surface of each of the display devices; a wall portion configured to be attached to and detached from the display devices; and a plurality of second magnets disposed on a surface of the wall portion and in line with the first magnets. The second magnets are movable in a direction perpendicular to or intersecting the surface of the wall portion. Accordingly, it is possible to attach/release the plurality of display devices to/from the wall portion by forming an attractive force or a repulsive force between the first magnets and the second magnets.

Tiled display and method of assembling the same

A display panel mounting device is disclosed. The device includes a body with at least one handle having an activation mechanism, and a mounting element operatively connected to the body and having at least one magnet. The mounting element is attachable to a display panel with a metallic element based on the at least one magnet generating a magnetic force to engage with the metallic element and being detachable from the display panel based on the at least one magnet disengaging from the metallic element. The activation mechanism is configured to control generation of the magnetic force by the at least one magnet.

Display with display mounting apparatus, and apparatus for assembling the same

A display includes a display panel having elements that allow attachment to a mounting structure therebehind and in alignment with adjacent display panels that collectively form a tiled display screen that has multiple display panels connected to each other with effectively seamless bezels. The elements are configured to allow the display panel to be attached to or detached from the tiled display screen in a particular direction other than a side direction that would only allow for engagement from the sides of the adjacent display panels.

Disclosed herein are a display device with a reduced bezel area and a method for fabricating the same. A wiring electrode disposed on a substrate is electrically connected to a connection electrode disposed on an inclined surface of a circuit board in contact with the substrate, and the connection electrode is electrically connected to a circuit wiring disposed on the circuit board. Therefore, an inactive area such as a pad portion for connecting the substrate with the circuit board is not required, such that the bezel area can be reduced.

A display device capable of actively controlling a viewing angle by an electrical signal, and a method for driving the same, are discussed. The display device in one embodiment includes a first substrate with a plurality of pixels, and a second substrate with convex lens, the second substrate facing the first substrate. Each of the plurality of pixels includes a main pixel and a viewing angle control pixel, and an image is displayed on both the main pixel and the viewing angle control pixel in a wide viewing angle mode. Further, an image is displayed on the main pixel, and a black is displayed on the viewing angle control pixel in a narrow viewing angle mode.
