A display device is disclosed. In one aspect, the display device includes a substrate, a plurality of pixels formed over the substrate and a plurality of signal lines formed over the substrate and connected to the pixels. The signal lines include a plurality of data lines formed over the substrate and a first crack sensing line connected to a first data line. The first crack sensing line is divided into first and second sections and the first section has a width that is greater than that of the second section.

A display device according to example embodiments includes a display panel divided into a first area including a plurality of first area pixel rows and a second area including a plurality of second area pixel rows, the number of pixels of each of the second area pixel rows being less than the number of pixels of each of the first area pixel rows, a scan driver configured to provide a plurality of scan signals to the display panel based on a width of an active period of a clock signal, the scan signals being output having substantially the same width of active periods to each other, a data driver configured to provide a plurality of data signals to the display panel, and a timing controller configured to adjust the width of the active period of the clock signal within a frame period based on locations of the first area and the second area.

An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display device, including a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other, a sealant arranged between the first and second substrates to adhere the first and second substrates together, a plurality of interconnections arranged on one of the first and second substrates and a plurality of cladding parts covering at least a portion of each of the plurality of interconnections at a location that corresponds to the sealant, each of the cladding parts including a material having a higher melting point than that of the interconnections. By including the cladding parts, a short circuit between the interconnections caused by heat applied to the sealant can be prevented, and safety and reliability of the OLED display device can be improved.

A touch screen panel comprises a first sensing pattern provided with first sensing cells arranged on one row along a first direction on a transparent substrate, and a first connection pattern through which adjacent first sensing cells are electrically connected to each other. A second sensing pattern is provided with second sensing cells arranged so as to be spaced apart from the first sensing cells on one column along a second direction on the transparent substrate, and a second connection pattern through which adjacent second sensing cells are electrically connected to each other. The first connection pattern includes at least two pairs of metal patterns arranged so as to be spaced apart from one another, and a transparent pattern formed in the shape of an island in the second sensing pattern so as to be electrically connected to one or the other end of each of the metal patterns.

The OLED display includes: a first substrate, an organic light emitting diode formed over the first substrate, the organic light emitting diode including a reflective surface configured to reflect light incident to the organic light emitting diode, a phase delay capping layer formed over the organic light emitting diode, configured to input linearly polarized light and output circularly polarized light, a second substrate disposed over the phase delay capping layer, and a polarizing plate formed over the second substrate, configured to pass through only linearly polarized light.

A flat panel display device and a method of fabricating the same, the flat panel display device including: a first substrate including a display portion to display an image and a peripheral portion disposed outside the display portion; a second substrate facing the first substrate; a frit disposed on the peripheral portion, to attach the first substrate to the second substrate; and a signal interconnection having portions overlapping the frit, to transmit a signal to the display portion. Edges of the signal interconnection that are overlapped by the frit are patterned, to prevent delamination of the frit.

The device includes: a substrate; a functional layer positioned on the substrate and making constructive interference of transmitted lights; a first electrode positioned on the functional layer; an organic emission layer positioned on the first electrode; and a second electrode positioned on the organic emission layer.

The present invention is related to an OLED display, and one aspect of the OLED display includes a substrate member, an insulating layer formed on the substrate member, a metal wire formed on the insulating layer and having a plurality of joining enhancement holes, a sealant formed on the metal wire, and a sealing member attached on the sealant. In some embodiments, the joining enhancement holes efficiently suppress stripping of the sealant from the metal wire, since the sealant can integrally bond with the interlayer insulating layer through the joining enhancement holes. This feature may compensate for any weak bonding adherence between the sealant and metal wire. In some embodiments, the area of the joining enhancement holes may range from about 5% to about 60% of the entire area of the metal wire.
