Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for analyzing elements inducing motion sickness in VR content. The method includes acquiring objective data based on an experiment using the VR content for measuring VR motion sickness, the experiment being conducted according to a predetermined protocol; acquiring subjective data input from the multiple participants of the experiment; and constructing a database based on the objective data and the subjective data and analyzing the degree of motion sickness induced by each of the content elements of the VR content using statistical information based on the database.

Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for acquiring 3D depth information. The apparatus includes a pattern projection unit, an image acquisition unit, and an operation unit. The pattern projection unit projects light, radiated by an infrared light source, into a space in a form of a pattern. The apparatus for providing a contactless GUI includes a basic information management unit, a pointer tracking unit, and a mouse event management unit. The pointer tracking unit analyzes the finger image information based on the basic pointer information, and generates a mouse operation event by tracking a mouse operation in order to control a mouse pointer based on results of the analysis.
