The CT image processing apparatus may generate a virtual monochromatic image (VMI) by applying a weight to each of first, second, and third images corresponding to three different energy ranges. The CT image processing apparatus may set a region of interest (ROI) on a CT image, determine a VMI at an energy level at which a CNR of the ROI is at a maximum among a plurality of VMIs, and display the determined VMI.

A plurality of first holes are provided in the wall at a position corresponding to the plurality of spaces. The at least one liquid lens is configured so that a position of the at least one liquid lens within the lens barrel is adjustable by adjusting amounts of the fluid contained in the plurality of spaces via the plurality of first holes.

An optical apparatus such as a varifocal fluidic lens is provided. Optical apparatus includes a spacer frame, optical fluid, an elastic membrane, an actuator, an actuator frame, and a thermally deformable frame. Spacer frame defines an internal space including a lens portion and a driving portion that connect to each other, and the driving portion is disposed to surround the lens portion disposed in the center area of the internal space. Optical fluid is filled in the internal space defined by the spacer frame. The elastic membrane is attached on a surface of the spacer frame, to cover a side of the internal space, and the thermally deformable plate is attached on the other surface of the spacer frame, to cover the other side of the internal space. The thermally deformable plate deforms to increase or decrease a volume of the internal space according to a change in temperature.

An imaging optical system and a three-dimensional (3D) image acquisition apparatus which includes the imaging optical system are provided. The imaging optical system includes an object lens configured to transmit light; first and second image sensors having different sizes from each other; a beamsplitter on which the light transmitted by the object lens is incident, the beamsplitter being configured to split the light incident thereon into light of a first wavelength band and light of a second wavelength band, and to direct the light of the first wavelength band to the first image sensor and the light of the second wavelength band to the second image sensor; and at least one optical element, disposed between the beamsplitter and the second image sensor, configured to reduce an image that is incident on the second image sensor, the optical element including at least one of a Fresnel lens and a diffractive optical element.
