Aspects relate to sidelink transmissions directed towards vehicle-to-everything (V2X) applications. A UE may determine an application-layer capability of the UE in which the application-layer capability corresponds to a V2X application implemented on the UE, and transmit an announcement including an indication of the application-layer capability via a transceiver. A UE may also receive an announcement via a transceiver that includes an indication of an application-layer capability corresponding to a second UE in which the application-layer capability corresponds to a V2X application implemented on the second UE, and engage with the second UE via the V2X application.

Announcement of vehicle-to-everything capabilities

Various embodiments include methods and systems for recognizing misbehavior detection in a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) maneuver coordination message. Various embodiments may include a V2X system of a vehicle receiving a maneuver coordination message, performing a test for misbehavior on the maneuver coordination message, and taking an action in response to the test identifying misbehavior associated with the maneuver coordination message. Various embodiments may include a network computing device of a V2X network receiving a plurality of maneuver coordination messages from a plurality of vehicles, identifying an inconsistency among the plurality of maneuver coordination messages, identifying a misbehavior condition in response to identifying the inconsistency among the plurality of maneuver coordination messages, and taking an action in response to identifying the misbehavior condition.

Misbehavior detection in a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) maneuver coordination message

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit an intended maneuver message for a maneuver of a vehicle associated with the UE, wherein the intended maneuver message identifies one or more target road resources associated with the maneuver, receive, from one or more other UEs, one or more responses to the intended maneuver message, and perform an action based at least in part on receiving the one or more responses to the intended maneuver message. Vehicle-to-vehicle maneuver sharing and coordinating

Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating identifier-based transport types of a GNLP are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a transmitting UE includes receiving a message based on a GNLP, the message including a GNLP header. The example method also includes populating the GNLP header to indicate that the message is associated with a single-hop transport type, the single-hop transport type including a unicast message, a groupcast message, or a broadcast message. The example method also includes transmitting the message via sidelink to a receiving UE. An example method for wireless communication at a receiving UE includes receiving, from a transmitting UE, a message via sidelink, the message based on a GNLP and including a GNLP header. The example method also includes using the GNLP header to determine that the message is associated with a single-hop transport type.

Techniques to facilitate V2X identifier-based transport types of a geographical network layer protocol

Some aspects described herein relate to detecting, for a first vehicle, presence of an obstacle in a driving path of a vehicle, determining, for a second vehicle, a sight stopping distance between the second vehicle and the obstacle, and transmitting, to the second vehicle and where the sight stopping distance is within a threshold, a message including a notification of the obstacle.

Techniques for sharing sensor messages in sidelink communications

A configuration to allow for the suppression or delay of the changing of an ID of a first wireless device to maintain a connection with another wireless device. The apparatus establishes a connection with a second wireless device using a side link. An ID of a first wireless device is provided to the second wireless device. The apparatus determines to change the ID of the first wireless device based on a predetermined schedule. The apparatus initiates a suppression to change of the ID of the first wireless device to maintain the connection with the second wireless device.

V2X ID management for persistent connection

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may transmit a maneuver message for a maneuver of a vehicle associated with the UE; perform a negotiation, with one or more other UEs, associated with the maneuver message, wherein the negotiation includes at least one of: indicating, in the maneuver message, one or more remote vehicle maneuvers, or receiving, from a UE of the one or more other UEs, a response to the maneuver message indicating a suggested maneuver for the vehicle of the UE; and perform an action based at least in part on performing the negotiation. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured for contention-based forwarding (CBF) to relay a message toward a destination. The UE may receive signaling indicating a configuration for CBF. The CBF configuration may be associated with a maximum communication range for CBF signaling. The UE may receive a message to relay toward the destination using CBF. The message may include a first indication of a dynamic communication range for the CBF which may be less than or equal to the maximum communication range. The UE may determine a timer value to retransmit the message based on the dynamic communication range. When a timer set to the timer value expires, the UE may retransmit the message to nearby stations and include an indication of the dynamic communication range with the message.
