A mother panel for a display panel includes: a mother substrate including a display panel area and a dummy area surrounding the display panel area, the mother substrate having a cutting line defined thereon, wherein the cutting line is configured to be irradiated by a laser along a boundary between the display panel area and the dummy area; and a first heat dissipation pattern on the mother substrate, extending from the display panel area to the dummy area to overlap the cutting line, and including a first rod portion including a plurality of lower rods spaced apart from each other and a first body portion in the dummy area and contacting the first rod portion.

A display device includes a display panel including a pixel, and a panel driver configured to receive a brightness value, and to generate a reference voltage and an initialization voltage. The pixel includes a driving transistor, a storage capacitor and a light emitting element. In an initialization period, the reference voltage is applied to a gate of the driving transistor, and the initialization voltage is applied to a source of the driving transistor. In a compensation period, the driving transistor is turned on based on the reference voltage such that a threshold voltage of the driving transistor is stored between first and second electrodes of the storage capacitor. The panel driver adjusts at least one of the reference voltage and the initialization voltage according to the brightness value.

A display device includes: a display panel having a first region and a second region defined in the display panel, in which the second region is adjacent to the first region in a first direction. The display panel includes: a first pixel disposed in the first region, a second pixel disposed in the second region, a first bias voltage line electrically connected to the first pixel to transmit a first bias voltage, and a second bias voltage line electrically connected to the second pixel to transmit a second bias voltage. A time point, at which a level of the first bias voltage is changed, differs from a time point at which a level of the second bias voltage is changed, when the display panel operates at a first frame frequency.

Display device

A display device including a light emitting diode, a driving transistor, a second transistor, a third transistor, a fourth transistor, and a current blocking transistor. The current blocking transistor is a transistor of a different type from the driving transistor, and in case that a voltage of a gate electrode of the driving transistor is maintained at an initialization voltage, the current blocking transistor is turned off during a light emitting period to not transmit the light emitting current outputted by the driving transistor to an anode of the light emitting diode.
