Disclosed are a sheet punching apparatus and a method for controlling the same in which the side end position of a sheet, its rear end position, a hole position, and the detachment state of a punch portion are sensed only by two sensors, and a punching hole can be formed at the exact position of a sheet by means of the two sensors. The sheet punching apparatus includes a punch portion () moving in a direction perpendicular to a moving direction of a sheet, a bracket () having an elastic member () to move in conjunction with the punch portion (), a sheet side end sensing means (S) fixed to a predetermined position of the bracket, sensing the side end of the sheet in accordance with movement of the bracket, and a sheet rear end sensing means (S) opened to sense the rear end of the moving sheet when the bracket moves at a predetermined distance along with the punch portion to sense the side end of the sheet, wherein the punch portion () works to punch the sheet at a predetermined position after the rear end of the sheet is sensed by the sheet rear end sensing means.

Sheet punching apparatus and method for controlling the same

Disclosed is a multiple stapling apparatus that can staple at least two or more parts of a sheet by exactly supporting the sheet a stapling position of a sheet finisher which finishes the sheet ejected from a digital output device. The multiple stapling apparatus includes a clamp shaft () parallel to a moving direction of the stapler, a first guide () having a first base wall () axially rotated around the clamp shaft () at a predetermined angle on the clamp shaft, supporting the sheet stacked on the compile tray, and second guides (and) having second base walls (and) slid along the clamp shaft along with the stapler, supporting the sheet on the compile tray when the first base wall is opened, wherein the first guide is axially rotated at a predetermined angle around the clamp shaft to open the first base wall when the stapler moves at a predetermined distance along the clamp shaft from a hole position (). In case that the sheet is supported by the first base wall, the edge of the sheet can be stapled by rotation of the stapler. In case that the sheet is supported by the second base wall, two or more parts of the sheet can be stapled while the stapler is moved along the supported sheet.

Multiple stapling apparatus

A sheet feeding apparatus with a buffer system is disclosed, in which a sheet feeding drum has a certain rotational speed regardless of the size of the sheet to feed a plurality of sheets to a sheet finisher and eject the sheets after exactly aligning them. The sheet feeding apparatus includes sheet feeding gripsandprovided on the outside of a sheet feeding drumat certain intervals, and a sheet feeding grip controller (cam)allowing the sheet feeding grips to selectively grip the sheets moving through the outside of the sheet feeding drum. The sheets gripped by the sheet feeding grips are buffered by the end fence and are ejected to a sheet finisher through a sheet ejection path when the end fence is opened. The sheet feeding drumincludes a plurality of support rings, andarranged at certain intervals, sheet feeding rollersandrespectively formed among the support rings, and a central shaftfixing the support rings and the rollers, the sheet feeding grips being provided in the support rings.

Sheet feeding apparatus with buffer system

A finishing apparatus in a copying machine is disclosed, which can finish large sized papers without enlarging the size of a tray base. The finishing apparatus includes a jogging assemblyaligning papers in left and right directions, a paper contact plateprovided with a stapler, a paper rollerpushing the papers to a paper stacker, ends of the papers being positioned in the stapler, a tray basemoving in a direction opposite to the paper roller to guide alignment of a set of the papers, and an angle adjusting unit guiding the papers by adjusting a tilt angle of the papers in accordance with the size of the papers.

A stapler moving guide device is disclosed, which can move regardless of a paper conveyer so as to enable multi-stapling at the end of papers and at the same time can move to a side portion at a tilt angle. A medium stacker is disclosed, which has a structure that effectively processes load externally applied to a stacker tray so as to prevent damage of the medium stacker and an external object from occurring and increases the ascending range of a stacker tray without change of a power transmission structure. The medium stacker includes a basic module frame fixed to a medium unit of a main body of an output device, a stacker tray fixed to the basic module frame to enable the ascending operation, on which ejected papers are stacked, a first guide means provided in the basic module frame, guiding the ascending operation of the stacker tray, a lifting belt ascending the stacker tray along the first guide means, and a belt driving pulley fixed to the lifting belt. The lifting belt includes a first part moving along the belt driving pulley, having one end fixed to the stacker tray, and a second part of an elastic member which is not moving along the belt driving pulley, having one end fixed to the basic module frame.

The present invention provides an apparatus capable of selectively stapling one of opposite corners of the sheets, as well as a side of the sheets. And, the apparatus for moving a stapler to a stapling position comprises a track board having a guide slot, wherein the guide slot includes a longitudinal portion parallel to a side of the sheets and a plurality of slant portions slanted toward the corners of the sheets at ends of the longitudinal portion; a carrying means for fixing the stapler to upper portion thereof, the carrying means being moved along the guide slot and having a plurality of protrusions passing through the guide slot; a guide bar being disposed under the track board in parallel to the longitudinal portion, the guide bar being longer than the longitudinal portion; a driving means for providing a driving force; and a moving means, joined to the driving means, being moved along the guide bar by the driving force, the moving means having a plurality of circular arc-shaped openings for confining the protrusions moving along the longitudinal portion and providing a rotation passage of the protrusions at ends of the longitudinal portion.
