An organic light-emitting display apparatus includes: a substrate; an organic light-emitting device including a first electrode disposed on the substrate, a second electrode disposed to face the first electrode, and an intermediate layer including an organic emission layer disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode; and a light scattering layer disposed on at least one of the first electrode and the second electrode disposed in a light emission direction, where the light scattering layer includes a plurality of barriers, and a light scattering pattern disposed at a side surface of each of the plurality of barriers.

A backlight assembly includes a first light guide plate, a second light guide plate, a light source part and a cover part. The second light guide plate is spaced apart from the first light guide plate. The light source part includes a first light source providing light to the first light guide plate and a second light source providing light to the second light guide plate. The cover part is disposed over the light source part. The cover part overlaps with a portion of the first light guide plate and a portion of the second light guide plate. A display apparatus having the above configuration has a narrow bezel and a thin profile.

The panel guides are disposed on the packing sheet and coupled to the guide members, respectively. The liquid crystal panel is placed on the panel guides. An extension direction of the first sides crosses an extension direction of the second sides.

An optical sheet includes a base layer, a light-condensing layer and a plurality of light-reflecting portions. The light-condensing layer includes a plurality of light-condensing portions formed on a second surface of the base layer along a first direction extending from a first side surface to a second side surface perpendicular to the first side surface. The light-condensing portions extended in a second direction crossing the first direction at an angle with respect to the side surface. The light-reflecting portions are formed in the first surface along the second direction and corresponding to a plurality of recesses where the light-condensing portions meet each other. An optical sheet includes a base layer, a light-condensing layer and a plurality of light-reflecting portions. The base layer includes a first surface and a second surface. The light-condensing layer includes a plurality of light-condensing portions with a first pitch. The light-condensing portions are formed along a first direction of the second surface. The light-reflecting portions are formed in the first surface to be spaced apart from each other along the -first direction in correspondence with a plurality of grooves, each groove formed between two light-condensing portions. An interval distance between a center of the light-condensing portion and an edge of the light-reflecting portion increases when moving toward the edge of the first surface from a center of the first surface along the first direction. Therefore, the number of the optical sheets used for the display device may be reduced.

Optical sheet and display device having the same

A backlight assembly includes a light source, a light-guide plate (LGP), a reflective sheet and at least one optical sheet. The light source emits light. The LGP includes a light-incident surface, a light-reflecting surface and a light-emitting surface. The light-incident surface receives the light from the light source. The light-reflecting surface has a plurality of first prism patterns spaced apart from each other and flat portions formed between the first prism patterns, which are substantially perpendicular to the light-incident surface. The light-emitting surface has a plurality of second prism patterns formed thereon. The reflective sheet is disposed below the LGP. At least one optical sheet is disposed on the LGP.
