An image sensor includes; a sensor array generating a pixel signal, a ramp signal generator generating a ramp signal having a decreasing slope during a ramp signal enable period between a first time at which a counter enable signal is activated and a third time at which the ramp signal ends falling, a comparator comparing the pixel signal with the ramp signal to trigger an output signal, and counters, where at least one of the counters performs counting during an entire counter enable period extending between the first time and a second time at which the comparator triggers the output signal, but not all of the counters perform counting during at least one section of the counter enable period.

Image sensor and method of operating same

A display device includes: a display panel having an upper surface to display an image and a lower surface; a first support and a second support disposed on the lower surface of the display panel; a first hinge connecting a side of the first support and a side of the second support and defining a first axis; a cover disposed on another side of the second support; and a second hinge connecting another side of the second support and a side of the cover and defining a second axis substantially parallel to the first axis, wherein the cover comprises a transparent material and a recess disposed on the side connected to the second hinge member.

Display device

A display device includes a display panel disposed in a first non-folding region, a second non-folding region, and a folding region located between the first and second non-folding regions. The display device further includes first and second buffer members disposed on one surface of the display panel in the first and second non-folding regions, respectively, and a metal layer disposed in the first non-folding region, the second non-folding region, and the folding region on one surface of the first buffer member and one surface of the second buffer member. The display device further includes a fingerprint sensor disposed on the metal layer. The first and second buffer members are separated with the folding region therebetween. The metal layer includes first, second, and third metal portions located in the first non-folding region, the second non-folding region, and the folding region, respectively. The fingerprint sensor is attached to the third metal portion.

A display device includes a flexible module including a display panel displaying an image, a first adhesive film disposed on one surface of the flexible module, first and second support plates disposed on the first adhesive film, opposed to the flexible module, and spaced apart from each other, a first adhesive protection layer and a first anti-adhesive layer disposed between the first support plate and the first adhesive film and facing each other, and a second adhesive protection layer and a second anti-adhesive layer disposed between the second support plate and the first adhesive film and facing each other, where a first bonding force between the first anti-adhesive layer and the first support plate and a second bonding force between the first adhesive protection layer and the first adhesive film are larger than a third bonding force between the first adhesive protection layer and the first anti-adhesive layer.

A display device includes a display module. An impact absorption layer is disposed under the display module and includes a first opening exposing a lower surface of the display module. A rigid plate is disposed under the impact absorption layer. A sensor is disposed between the display module and the rigid plate within the first opening and is coupled to an upper surface of the rigid plate. A support member is disposed between the impact absorption layer and the sensor within the first opening, and contacts the display module and the rigid plate.

A semiconductor memory device includes a first chip having a first pad and a first misalignment detection pattern on a first surface; and a second chip having a second pad and a second misalignment detection pattern on a second surface, and bonded to the first surface of the first chip such that the second pad is coupled with the first pad. The second chip includes a misalignment detection circuit which is coupled between the second misalignment detection pattern and a test pad and outputs a first voltage provided from the first misalignment detection pattern, to the test pad, in the case where a misalignment between the first chip and the second chip exceeds a preset value such that the first misalignment detection pattern and the second misalignment detection pattern are shorted to each other.

Semiconductor memory device having chip-to-chip bonding structure

A thin film transistor array panel device comprises: a base substrate; a barrier layer disposed over the base substrate and comprising a plurality of transparent material layers; and an array of thin film transistors disposed over the barrier layer. A difference between a refractive index of the barrier layer and a refractive index of the base substrate may be within about 6%. The transparent material layers may be arranged such that the transparent material layers having compressive residual stress and the transparent material layers having tensile residual stress are alternately stacked. Each of the transparent material layers may comprise silicon oxynitride (SiON).
