A coil component includes a body, a coil part including a coil pattern and embedded in the body, an external electrode disposed on an external surface of the body and electrically connected to the coil part, a shielding layer disposed on the external surface of the body, and a ceramic insulating layer disposed on a surface of the shielding layer.

Coil component

A coil component includes a body and a coil portion disposed in the body and including first and second lead-out portions. Recesses are disposed along edges of one surface of the body, and expose the first and second lead-out portions to internal walls and lower surfaces of the recesses. First and second external electrodes are disposed in the recesses, and are connected to the first and second lead-out portions. A third external electrode is disposed in the recesses, and is connected to a connection electrode disposed on side surfaces of the body and on another surface of the body opposite to the one surface. An external insulating layer covers the connection electrode, and has an opening exposing at least a portion of the connection electrode. A shielding layers is disposed on the external insulating layer and in the opening and connects to the connection electrode.

A coil component includes: a body having one surface and the other surface opposing each other in one direction; a coil portion including a coil pattern having at least one turn around the one direction, and embedded in the body; an external electrode disposed on the one surface of the body and connected to the coil portion; a shielding layer disposed on the other surface of the body; and an insulating layer disposed between the body and the shielding layer.

A coil component includes: a body having a first surface and a second surface opposing each other in a thickness direction of the body and a wall surface connecting the first and second surfaces; a coil part including coil patterns and including at least one turn centered on the thickness direction; external electrodes disposed on the first surface of the body and electrically connected to the coil part; a shielding layer including a cap portion disposed on the second surface of the body and side wall portions disposed on the wall surface of the body and each having a first end connected to the cap portion; an insulating layer disposed between the body and the shielding layer; and a gap portion bounded by a second end of the shielding layer opposing the first end and the first surface of the body to expose portions of the wall surface.

A wireless communications antenna includes: a magnetic body including one or more slits formed therein; and a coil part having solenoid form and disposed around the magnetic body, wherein the one or more slits are configured such that the magnetic body is not disconnected and a magnetic path of the magnetic body is continuous.
