An electronic device connection apparatus and a control method thereof is disclosed. The electronic device connection apparatus may include a connector connected to an electronic device, an input device that generates, in response to a user input, a mode change signal instructing a change of an operation mode for determining a charging and/or a data transmission operation of the electronic device. The apparatus may include a controller that charges the electronic device connected to the connector and/or performs a data communication with the electronic device in response to a preset operation mode, and changes the operation mode in response to the mode change signal.

An input device is configured to provide input to various electronic devices. The input device includes: a manipulation unit; a substrate; a tilting mechanism; and a detector. The manipulation unit includes a handle which is rotatable around a rotation axis and is pressed along the rotation axis, and outputs a first signal corresponding to rotation of the handle and a second signal corresponding to pressing of the handle. The tilting mechanism includes a cylindrical shaft fixed to the substrate, and a bearing fixed to the body, wherein the shaft is perpendicular to the rotation axis, and the tilting mechanism allows the substrate to swing around the shaft between a first manipulation position and a second manipulation position. The detector is disposed on the surface of the substrate facing the body, and outputs a third signal when the substrate is in the second manipulation position.

Input device

A vehicle includes a camera for capturing a rear image and effectively outputs a rear image captured through a mobile device when the vehicle does not include a display. A method of providing the rear image of the vehicle includes: setting a data path with a smart device, acquiring a rear image from a rear camera of the vehicle, correcting the acquired rear image based on a vehicle speed and delay that occurs in the data path, and transmitting the corrected image to the smart device.

A control knob device that may be used in a vehicle to control audio volume or the like includes a shaft connected with a knob cap, an elastic member pressed by the shaft to be elastically deformed, and a switch located adjacent to the elastic member. The switch includes a switch part configured to output a signal upon a deformation of the elastic member. A deformable member deformed by a load greater than that when the elastic member is deformed and the switch outputs the signal, is configured to change a relative position between the knob cap and the shaft.
