A Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device may collect one or more resolvable public identifiers from one or more wireless devices, each of the resolvable public identifiers indicating whether a user associated with a respective one of the wireless devices is a possible virus carrier. The BLE device may generate a timestamp for each of the collected resolvable public identifiers, each timestamp indicating a time at which a corresponding resolvable public identifier was received by the BLE device. The BLE device may share the collected resolvable public identifiers and their corresponding timestamps with a paired device. The BLE device may receive, from the paired device, an indication of whether one or more of the collected resolvable public identifiers is associated with a possible virus carrier. The BLE device may be included within or attached to one of a bracelet, neckless, a belt, watch, a smartwatch, or a key fob.

Wireless contact tracking

This discloses a host system and a target configured to communicate via a point-to-point coupling a Host Target Communication (HTC) protocol for sharing the host system's wireless interface using endpoints to optimize messaging and with the host system managing the buffer resources of the target to minimize target requirements, latency and so on. The HTC integrates into a large number of point-to-point communications protocols. The program systems for the host and the target, installation packages, computer readable memories including program systems and/or installation packages, and a download server are also disclosed.

Method and apparatus for communication of a target over point-to-point interface with a host managing wireless LAN services and target resources

The transmission range of a network communication device can be extended by enabling transition between legacy and non-legacy communication protocols. A communication device can receive a packet in a legacy packet format from a host device via a legacy network interface. In response to determining that the packet received via the legacy network interface is to be transmitted using one of a plurality of non-legacy communication protocols, a processing path within the communication device in accordance with which to process the packet for transmission using the non-legacy communication protocol is determined. The packet in the legacy packet format is reformatted to yield a target packet in a non-legacy packet format based, at least in part, on the non-legacy communication protocol. The target packet is provided to the destination network device in accordance with the non-legacy communication protocol.

Multi-communication mode packet routing mechanism for wireless communications systems

This disclosure involves methods and systems for providing a host with a Bluetooth transceiver by way of a virtual USB connection to a PCI/PCIe bus in which the virtual USB connection is controlled by a modified OHCI. The Bluetooth transceiver is configured to send a status signal when there is data to be transferred to the host. The modified OHCI is configured to activate a list processor upon receipt of the status signal, such that the list processor controls the transfer of the data to be transferred to the host. After delivery of the data to the host, the modified OHCI is configured to inactivate the list processor. Further, the modified OHCI is configured to be compatible with standard USB software resident on the host.

Systems and methods for implementing bluetooth over a virtual USB connection

A wireless communication apparatus capable of providing information requests includes a wireless communication device having a wireless transceiver configured to send and receive communications across a wireless communication network. A hands-free unit can be included and coupled to the wireless communication device. The hands-free unit includes a speaker and a microphone configured to provide audio information to a user and to accept audio information from the user. A position determination system determines a location of the apparatus and provides position data indicative of such location to a server along with the information request. The server can process the information request along with the position information and provide a response to the request to the wireless communication apparatus.
