A display device including multiple first light emitting elements disposed between first pixel electrodes and a first common electrode overlapping the first pixel electrodes, multiple second light emitting elements disposed between second pixel electrodes spaced apart from the first pixel electrodes and a second common electrode overlapping the second pixel electrodes, a support layer disposed between the first light emitting elements and the second light emitting elements and having a predetermined height, a conductive pattern disposed on the support layer, and a contact layer having an end electrically connected to the first common electrode and the another end electrically connected to the conductive pattern.

A display device and a method of fabricating the same, the display device including a light-blocking layer disposed on a substrate, a buffer layer disposed on the light-blocking layer, a semiconductor layer disposed on the buffer layer, a gate insulating layer disposed on the semiconductor layer, a connection pattern layer and a gate electrode disposed on the gate insulating layer and spaced apart from each other, an interlayer dielectric layer disposed on the connection pattern layer and the gate electrode, a via layer disposed on the interlayer dielectric layer, a first bridge layer and a second bridge layer disposed on the via layer, a pixel electrode disposed on the second bridge layer, and a light-emitting layer disposed on the pixel electrode. An end of the first bridge layer is connected to the light-blocking layer through the connection pattern layer, and another end thereof is connected to the semiconductor layer. The second bridge layer connects the semiconductor layer with the pixel electrode.

Display device and method of fabricating the same

A display device includes electrodes disposed on a substrate, the electrodes extending in a first direction and being spaced apart from each other, a first insulating layer disposed on the electrodes, light-emitting elements disposed on the first insulating layer, between the electrodes, a second insulating layer disposed on the light-emitting elements, the second insulating layer extending in the first direction, connecting electrodes disposed on the second insulating layer and the light-emitting elements, the connecting electrodes electrically contacting end portions of each of the light-emitting elements, and a third insulating layer disposed between the connecting electrodes. An end portion of at least one of the connecting electrodes overlaps another one of the connecting electrodes.

Display device

A display device includes a light emitting area, a non-light emitting area surrounding the light emitting area, and a separation area spaced apart from the light emitting area, the non-light emitting area disposed between the light emitting area and the separation area; a bank disposed in the non-light emitting area; a first alignment electrode and a second alignment electrode that extend from the light emitting area through the non-light emitting area to the separation area; light emitting elements electrically connected to at least one of the first alignment electrode and the second alignment electrode; a first contact electrode disposed in the separation area and electrically connected to the first alignment electrode; and a second contact electrode disposed in the separation area and electrically connected to the second alignment electrode.

A display device includes a substrate having a display area and a pad area. A gate conductive layer disposed on the substrate includes a gate conductive metal layer and a gate capping layer. The gate conductive layer forms a gate electrode in the display area and a wire pad in the pad area that is exposed by a pad opening. An interlayer insulating film disposed on the gate conductive layer covers the gate electrode. A data conductive layer disposed on the interlayer insulating film in the display area includes source and drain electrodes. A passivation layer disposed on the data conductive layer covers the source and drain electrodes. A via layer is disposed on the passivation layer. A pixel electrode is disposed on the via layer. The pixel electrode is connected to the source electrode through a contact hole penetrating the via layer and the passivation layer.

Display device with gate conductive layer forming wire pad in pad area and method of fabricating the same

A display device is provided. The display device includes a first base substrate, a gate line on the first base substrate and extending in a first direction, a data line disposed on the first base substrate, insulated from the gate line, and extending in a second direction, which crosses the first direction, a switch on the first base substrate and electrically connected to the gate line and the data line, an insulating layer on the switch, a first electrode on the insulating layer, a light-shielding conductive layer directly contacting the first electrode and overlapping the switch, and a second electrode insulated from the first electrode and the light-shielding conductive layer, at least partially overlapping the first electrode, and electrically connected to the switch.

A display device is provided. The display device includes: a first substrate that comprises a first base substrate, an insulating layer located on the first base substrate, and a barrier layer located on the insulating layer; a second substrate that faces the first substrate; a liquid crystal layer that is located between the first substrate and the second substrate; and a first spacer that is located between the first substrate and the second substrate and is in contact with the first substrate, wherein the first substrate further comprises a second spacer that is located on the barrier layer and overlaps with the first spacer.

The device includes a base; first and second thin-film transistors (TFT) on the base, adjacent to each; an organic layer covering the first and second TFT, including a first and second opening overlapping the drain electrodes of the first and second TFT, respectively; a common electrode on the organic layer comprising a common electrode opening overlapping the first opening and another common electrode opening overlapping the second opening; an insulating layer on a bump spacer which is on the common electrode; a first and second pixel electrode on the insulating layer overlapping the common electrode and electrically connected to the first and second TFT, respectively, wherein a minimum distance between the bump spacer and the common electrode opening is substantially equal to a minimum distance between the bump spacer and the other common electrode opening.

Display device and method of manufacturing the same

A display, includes: a substrate; first signal lines (FSLs) disposed on the substrate and extending in substantially a first direction; a gate insulating layer (GIL) disposed on the FSLs; a first electrode disposed on the GIL; a thin film transistor (TFT) connected to a FSL of the FSLs and including the GIL and the first electrode; a pixel electrode (PE) extending in substantially the first direction, connected to the TFT, and configured to receive a data voltage from the TFT; a common electrode (CE) overlapping with at least a portion of the PE; and a first insulating layer disposed between the PE and CE. One of the PE and the CE has a planar shape and the other includes branch electrodes overlapping with the planar shape and extending substantially parallel to the FSL. At least a portion of the CE overlaps with at least a portion of the FSL.

Liquid crystal display

A display, includes: a substrate; first signal lines (FSLs) at least partially recessed in the substrate and extending in substantially a direction; a gate insulating layer (GIL) disposed on the FSLs; a first electrode disposed on the GIL; a thin film transistor (TFT) connected to a FSL of the FSLs and including the GIL and the first electrode; a pixel electrode (PE) extending in substantially the direction, connected to the TFT, and configured to receive a data voltage from the TFT; a common electrode (CE) overlapping with at least a portion of the PE; and a first insulating layer disposed between the PE and CE. One of the PE and the CE has a planar shape and the other includes branch electrodes overlapping with the planar shape and extending substantially parallel to the FSL. At least a portion of the CE overlaps with at least a portion of the FSL.

A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display, including: preparing a substrate on which a switching element, laminating a conductive material layer and a conductive metal layer, forming a first photosensitive film pattern on the conductive metal layer, the first photosensitive film pattern comprising a first region having a first thickness and a second region having a second thickness greater than the first thickness, forming a conductive metal pattern by etching the conductive metal layer using the first photosensitive film pattern as a mask, forming a second photosensitive film pattern that exposes a part of the conductive metal pattern by removing the first region of the first photosensitive film pattern, forming a common electrode by etching the conductive material layer by using the conductive metal pattern as a mask and forming an auxiliary electrode by etching the exposed conductive metal pattern using the second photosensitive film pattern as a mask.

Liquid crystal display and method for manufacturing same

A display device includes a first insulation substrate, a gate line disposed on the first insulation substrate, a semiconductor layer disposed on the gate line, a data line insulated from and crossing the gate line and including a source electrode and a drain electrode facing the source electrode, a first insulating layer disposed on the source electrode and the drain electrode, a pixel electrode electrically connected to the drain electrode, a second insulating layer disposed on the pixel electrode, a common electrode disposed on the second insulating layer, and a shielding pattern part disposed on a same layer as the pixel electrode and overlapping the data line.
