A surface of a LiCoO-based positive electrode active material to have a rock salt crystal structure is provided. Specifically, a positive electrode active material for a lithium rechargeable battery is provided, including: a core particle containing lithium cobalt oxide doped with aluminum (Al); and a coating layer positioned on a surface of the core particle and containing a cobalt (Co)-based compound having a rock salt crystal structure. A method of producing the positive electrode active material is also provided using a solid-phase method. The positive electrode active material can be applied to a positive electrode, lithium rechargeable battery, battery module, battery pack, and the like.

The present invention relates to an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer having a high weight average molecular weight and narrow molecular weight distribution, and at the same time, a reduced characteristic relaxation time, thereby showing excellent physical properties, and a method for preparing the same. A resin composition having improved volume resistance and excellent light transmittance may be prepared by using such ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer. Accordingly, the ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer may be utilized in various uses in electrical and electronic industrial fields.

The method includes supporting a catalyst on surfaces of carbon particles; heat treating the catalyst in a helium or hydrogen atmosphere such that the catalyst penetrate the surfaces of the carbon particles and are impregnated beneath the surfaces of the carbon particles at a contact point between the carbon particles and the impregnated catalyst; and heating the carbon particles having the impregnated catalyst disposed therein in the presence of a source gas to grow carbon nanofibers from the impregnated catalyst to form a composite conductive material, wherein the source gas contains a carbon source, and wherein the carbon nanofibers extend from the contact point to above the surfaces of the carbon particles.

The present invention relates to an olefin-based copolymer having novel crystalline properties and capable of providing a molded article with further improved strength and impact strength when compounded with other resins, and a method for preparing the same.
