A system and method of adding a high-rate channel to a legacy baseband bus includes a bus communicatively coupled to a transmitter and a receiver via one or more transformer couplers, where the transmitter and receiver transmit and receive a first signal over the bus utilizing a differential mode. The system also includes at least two modems coupled to the bus, where a first modem transmits a second signal over the bus for receipt by a second modem, where the at least two modems are each coupled to the bus via the one or more transformer couplers, where the second signal is transmitted over the bus utilizing a common mode, and where the first signal and the second signal are spatially separated on the bus based on an isolation between the common mode and the differential mode.

Common-mode signaling and coupler bypass in legacy busses

Examples herein include a computer system and methods. Some computer systems comprise two or more devices (each device comprises at least one processing circuit), where each computing device comprises or is communicatively coupled to one or more optical network interface controller (O-NIC) cards. Each O-NIC card comprises at least two bidirectional optical channels to transmit data and to receive additional data from each O-NIC card communicatively coupled to a device, over a channel. The system also includes one or more interfaces and a memory. Program instructions execute a method on one or more processors in communication with a memory, and the method includes modifying, during runtime of at least one application, a pairing over a given bidirectional optical channel of an interface of the interfaces to a given device.

The processor(s) provides the attribute of the first service node to the first client. The processor(s) accepts an access to the service by the first client, based on the first client utilizing the attribute to connect to the first service node. The processor(s) identifies attributes of one or more clients accessing the service via the first service node, including the first client. The processor(s) experiences an event indicating a need to change security protecting access to the service. The processor(s) redistributes the one or more clients to at least two additional service nodes.

Identifying and deceiving adversary nodes and maneuvers for attack deception and mitigation

A method, computer program product, and system where a processor(s) in a distributed computing environment intercepts a communication (of sequential elements) between a first computing node and a second computing node. The processor(s) determines if the communication is undesired by evaluating data related to or comprising each element individually. The evaluating includes the processor(s) obtaining a first element (an earliest element in the sequence that has not been evaluated), determining, if the data related to or comprising the earliest element indicate that the communication is undesired, forwarding the earliest element to the second computing node, before obtaining a second element in the sequence (an element subsequent and adjacent to the earliest element in the sequence), and based on determining that the data related to or comprising the earliest element indicate that the communication is undesired, invalidating, an available element of the sequential elements such that the second computing node does not receive the communication in a usable format.

A method, computer program product, and system for generating a unique (deceptive) view of a network, the method includes a processor generating, for a host on a computing network, a virtual network topology view, where the virtual network topology view of the network host differs from a physical network topology of the computing network, wherein the network node perceives the computing network as comprising a network topology of the virtual network topology view. The generating includes: the processor modifying naming and addressing services of network components communicatively coupled to the network host and transforming network flows between the network resources viewable by the network host in the virtual network topology view, to be consistent with the virtual network topology view.
