A rotary compressor is provided that may include a casing, a cylinder, a main bearing, a sub bearing, a rotational shaft, a roller, and at least one vane. The cylinder may include at least one elastic deformation unit to absorb impact with the at least one vane. With this structure, a collision force caused due to chattering of the at least one vane may be absorbed to suppress or prevent friction loss and/or wear between the cylinder and the vane, thereby enhancing compressor efficiency, reducing vibration noise, and enabling fast initial actuation.

Rotary compressor

A rotary compressor is provided that may include a cylinder; a chamber eccentrically formed in the cylinder and accommodating a predetermined working fluid; a rotor rotatably received in the chamber and arranged so as to be concentric to the cylinder; first and second bearings disposed on upper and lower portions, respectively, of the cylinder so as to close the chamber, and which support a drive shaft of the rotor; a plurality of vanes movably installed on the rotor in a radial direction thereof, and protruding from the rotor up to an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder so as to divide the chamber into a plurality of compression spaces; first and second guide grooves which, in order to accommodate a portion of the vanes, are formed on respective surfaces, facing the chamber, of the first and second bearings so as to be concentric to the chamber, and guide the plurality of vanes while the rotor is rotating so that the plurality of vanes continuously protrude up to the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder; and an auxiliary bearing which is provided in at least one of the first guide groove or the second guide groove and rotating with the plurality of vanes.

A rotary compressor provided that may include a casing, a cylinder, a roller, and at least one vane slidably inserted into the roller, and the roller may have at least one bypass passage through which spaces on both sides of a contact point based on a rotational direction of the roller communicate with each other. Through the at least one bypass passage, residual refrigerant remaining in a compression space even after a discharge stroke may be bypassed to a suction chamber, thereby minimizing the refrigerant remaining in the compression space after the discharge stroke. Also, loss due to overcompression in a residual space may be suppressed or prevented while reducing suction loss due to the introduction of overcompressed high-pressure refrigerant by the bypassing the refrigerant in the residual space toward a suction side in advance.

A rotary compressor is provided that may include at least one vane that is slidably inserted into at least one vane slot provided in a roller or a cylinder so as to separate a compression space into a plurality of compression chambers. The at least one vane has an at least one oil supply groove formed in at least one of axial side surfaces, respectively, facing a main bearing and a sub bearing. The at least one oil supply groove may be longer in a longitudinal direction of the at least one vane than in a widthwise direction of the at least one vane. With this structure, it is possible to suppress friction loss and wear on a friction surface by supplying oil to the friction surface in contact with the at least one vane.

A rotary compressor is provided that may include a cylinder having an inner peripheral surface; a roller; and a plurality of vanes slidably inserted into the plurality of vane slots to rotate together with the roller, front end surfaces of which come into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder due to the back pressure to partition the compression space into a plurality of compression chambers. The cylinder may further include a suction flow path for refrigerant that may include a suction port that communicates with the compression space to suction the refrigerant in a lateral direction, and a suction passage disposed in a direction that crosses the suction port to provide communication between the compression space and the suction port.

A rotary compressor may include a cylinder having an inner peripheral surface that defines a compression space, and provided with a suction port configured to communicate with the compression space and through which refrigerant is suctioned into the compression space; a roller rotatably provided in the compression space of the cylinder, and having a plurality of vane slots that provides a back pressure at one side thereinside and provided at a predetermined interval along an outer peripheral surface of the roller; and a plurality of vanes slidably inserted into the vane slots, respectively, and configured to rotate together with the roller, front end surfaces of which come into contact with the cylinder due to the back pressure to partition the compression space into a plurality of compression chambers. High-pressure refrigerant may be accommodated between one of the vanes and the cylinder.

A rotary compressor is provided that may include a rotational shaft, first and second bearings configured to support the rotational shaft in a radial direction, a cylinder disposed between the first and second bearings to form a compression space, a rotor disposed in the compression space and coupled to the rotational shaft to compress a refrigerant as the rotor rotates, and at least one vane slidably inserted into the rotor, the at least one vane coming into contact with an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder to separate the compression space into a plurality of regions. The at least one vane may include a pin that extends in an axial direction, and at least one of the first bearing and the second bearing may include a rail groove into which the pin may be inserted.

A rotary compressor may include a case, a cylinder, a roller, a vane, a main bearing and a sub bearing, and a discharge passage defined in the main bearing or the sub bearing to discharge refrigerant compressed in a compression space. The discharge passage may include at least one discharge hole formed through the main bearing or the sub bearing, and at least one discharge guide groove having a first end that communicates with the at least one discharge hole and a second end that extends from the at least one discharge hole toward a contact point between the cylinder and the roller and is recessed from one surface of the main bearing or the sub bearing forming the compression space. Accordingly, an amount of refrigerant remaining in the compression space even after a discharge stroke may be reduced.

A rotary compressor is provided that may include a rotational shaft, first and second bearings configured to support the rotational shaft in a radial direction, a cylinder disposed between the first and second bearings to form a compression space, a rotor disposed in the compression space to form a contact point forming a predetermined gap with the cylinder and coupled to the rotational shaft to compress a refrigerant as the rotor rotates, and at least one vane slidably inserted into the rotor, the at least one each vane coming into contact with an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder to separate the compression space into a plurality of regions. The at least one vane may include a pin that extends upward or downward, and a lower surface of the first bearing or an upper surface of the second bearing may include a rail groove into which the pin may be inserted.

A rotary compressor: a casing; a plurality of bearings provided in an internal space of the casing; at least one cylinder provided between the bearings to form a compression space and has a vane slot; a rolling piston accommodated in the compression space to perform an orbiting movement; at least one vane that is slidably inserted into the vane slot of the cylinder, the at least one vane configured to separate the compression space into a suction chamber and a discharge chamber; a discharge cover including a noise reducing space to accommodate refrigerant discharged from the compression space; and a bypass flow path that allows the noise reducing space of the discharge cover to be connected between a sidewall of the vane slot and a side of the vane facing the sidewall.

A vane-type compressor is provided. The vane-type compressor may include a cylindrical cylinder having opposite open ends along an axial direction, an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder being eccentric from an outer circumferential surface of the cylinder, a main bearing and a sub bearing, respectively, positioned at the open ends of the cylinder, a rotor coupled to a shaft supported by the main bearing and the sub bearing and installed eccentric from the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder, and a plurality of vanes coupled to the rotor to rotate along with the rotor, the plurality of vanes dividing the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder into a plurality of spaces including a suction chamber and a compression chamber when the rotor rotates. An elastic member may be installed at a point at which a minimum gap is maintained between the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder and the rotor so that a portion of the elastic member protrudes inward of the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder. An end of a discharge dimple formed in the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder extends up to the point.

A rotary compressor includes a cylinder, a drive unit, a piston, a vane, and an oil passage. The cylinder includes a suction chamber for suctioning fluid and a compression chamber for compressing fluid. The drive unit rotates a drive shaft by connecting to the cylinder. The piston oscillates in the cylinder by connecting to the drive shaft. The vane extends between the cylinder and the piston so as to separate the suction chamber from the compression chamber, and some parts of the length of the vane are inserted into a slide groove formed in the cylinder. One end of the vane is connected to the coupling groove formed in the piston. The oil passage is disposed between one end of the vane and the rolling piston so as to receive oil therethrough.

A compressor is provided that may include a cylinder including an outer cylinder portion, an inner cylinder portion, and a vane portion connected between the outer cylinder portion and the inner cylinder portion, which is fixed to a casing. A rolling piston may be slidably coupled to the vane portion to form an outer compression space and an inner compression space while making a turning movement between the outer cylinder portion and the inner cylinder portion. Through this, a weight of a rotating body may be reduced to obtain a low power loss with respect to the same cooling power and a small bearing area, thereby reducing refrigerant leakage as well as easily changing a capacity of a cylinder in an expanded manner. In addition, refrigerant may be discharged in opposite directions to each other in each compression space, thereby reducing vibration noise of the compressor.

Compressor

A compressor is provided that includes an accumulator formed in an internal space of a shell to reduce a size of the compressor. An accumulator space may be formed using the shell of the compressor, thereby simplifying an assembly process. A stationary shaft having a refrigerant suction passage may be directly connected to the accumulator to prevent leakage of refrigerant. A discharge passage may be formed in a rotating body to enhance a cooling effect of a drive motor, and an oil separating member may be installed in the discharge passage to prevent oil from being excessively leaked out. A center of gravity of the accumulator may correspond to a center of gravity of the compressor to reduce vibration noise of the compressor caused by the accumulator. An area for installing a compressor including the accumulator may be minimized to enhance design flexibility of an outdoor device.

A compressor is provided having an accumulator that may form an accumulating chamber at an internal space of a shell, thereby reducing a size of the compressor, and simplifying an assembly process. A stationary shaft having a refrigerant suction passage may be directly connected to the accumulator to prevent leakage of refrigerant. Further, a center of gravity of the accumulator may correspond to a center of gravity of the compressor to reduce vibration noise of the compressor caused by the accumulator. Furthermore, an oil collecting plate may be installed at an upper end of an upper bearing to supply oil between a vein and vein slot, thereby preventing compression loss. Also, an installation area of the compressor including the accumulator may be minimized to enhance design flexibility of an outdoor device employing the compressor and minimize interference with other components, thereby facilitating installation of the outdoor device.
