The invention relates to a formulation comprising: &#x2014;a first component which is formed from at least one isocyanate and at least one amino resin, wherein said amino resin is the condensation product of an aldehyde with a compound selected from the group comprising urea, melamine, benzoguanamine, glycoluril, acetoguanamine and mixtures thereof; and &#x2014;a second component comprising at least one polyether, wherein said polyether comprises at least one ethylene oxide moiety and at least one isocyanate reactive group selected from the group comprising hydroxyl, amino, epoxy, and thiol, preferably hydroxyl.

Wood adhesive formulation

A formulation containing (i) a first component formed from at least one isocyanate and at least one polyether and (ii) a second component including at least one amino resin, wherein the amino resin is the condensation product of an aldehyde and at least one of urea, melamine, benzoguanamine, glycoluril, and acetoguanamine. A process for binding lignocellulosic materials using the formulation is also described.

The present invention relates to a silylated polyurethane obtainable by a process comprising the step of contacting at least one isocyanate with at least one isocyanate-reactive compound and with at least one aminosilane; wherein said at least one isocyanate comprises 2,4'-methylene diphenyl diisocyanate, and wherein said at least one isocyanate comprises less than 50.0% by weight of said 2,4&#x2032;-methylene diphenyl diisocyanate based on the total weight of said at least one isocyanate. The invention relates to a composition obtained by simultaneously mixing at least one isocyanate, at least one polyether and at least one amino resin, wherein said polyether comprises at least one ethylene oxide moiety and at least one isocyanate reactive group selected from the group comprising hydroxyl, amino, epoxy, and thiol, and wherein said amino resin is the condensation product of an aldehyde with a compound selected from the group comprising urea, melamine, benzoguanamine, glycoluril, acetoguanamine and mixtures thereof.

The invention relates to a process for preparing a polysaccharide derivative, comprising the steps of: (a) contacting at least one polysaccharide with at least one polysaccharide swelling agent at a temperature of at most 70&#xb0; C.; and (b) subsequently, contacting the product of step (a) with at least one aromatic isocyanate; thereby preparing a polysaccharide derivative.
