A method for physical downlink control channel (PD-CCH) monitoring by user equipment (UE includes receiving a specification indicative of a monitoring pattern for a search space set including a plurality of slots. The monitoring pattern includes one or more monitoring spans within the search space set. Each of the one or more monitoring spans is associated with a set of parameters defining that particular monitoring span. The method includes selecting at least one monitoring span of the one or more monitoring spans. The method includes assigning the UE to monitor the at least one monitoring span. The method includes performing, by the UE, PDCCH monitoring during the selected at least one monitoring span.

Methods for enhanced PDCCH monitoring

In some embodiments, the UE may receive a resource configuration from a network node including one or more parameters for establishing a communication channel. The UE may receive a command from the network node indicating a UL grant for packet transmission from the UE. While preparing to transmit a first packet corresponding to the UL grant, the UE may receive a second packet having a higher priority designation, wherein the second packet includes an overlapping symbol with the first packet. The UE may transmit the second packet in view of this higher priority.

A described technique performed by a user equipment (UE) includes signaling that enables transmit power control (TPC) accumulation; receiving, by the UE, downlink control information (DCI) messages corresponding to respective physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission occasions; determining, by the UE, power control adjustment states for the PUSCH transmission occasions; and transmitting, by the UE, in the PUSCH transmission occasions in accordance with the power control adjustment states. In a general aspect, a User Equipment (UE) in a cellular communications network receives a Radio Resource Control (RRC) signaling message from a base station communicatively coupled to the UE over a communications channel. The UE accesses a search space in the RRC signaling message. The UE identifies a fallback Downlink Control Information (DCI) Information Element (IE) included in the search space. The UE determines whether an aggregation factor is indicated in the fallback DCI IE for shared channel communications with the base station, over multiple slots in the communications channel. The UE determines an uplink/downlink (UL/DL) configuration for transmission on the communications channel. The UE schedules an aggregated transmission over multiple slots in the communications channel based on the aggregation factor and the uplink/downlink configuration.
