A multilayer substrate includes a first metal plate forming a first coil; a second metal plate facing the first metal plate in a coil-winding axis direction and forming a second coil; a first insulating layer having therein the first metal plate; and a second insulating layer having therein the second metal plate. A metal foil is connected to the first metal plate through a plurality of via holes. An electronic component embedded in the first insulating layer is connected to a pattern formed on the metal foil.

Multilayer substrate

There is provided an induction device including a first coil formed by winding a plurality of times a conductive wire that is covered with an insulating layer, a second coil formed of a metal pattern, and a coil support member disposed between the first coil and the second coil. The first coil and the second coil are magnetically connected to each other. There is also provided a transformer including a primary coil formed by winding a plurality of times a conductive wire that is covered with an insulating layer, a secondary coil formed of a metal pattern, and an insulating sheet that is disposed between the primary coil and the secondary coil. The primary coil and the secondary coil are magnetically connected to each other.

Induction device

A magnetic core includes a first core having a predetermined magnetic permeability and a second core formed of the same material as the first core. The second core forms a closed magnetic circuit together with the first core. The second core is configured to radiate heat through a heat radiating unit. At least one of the first core and the second core is configured to be wound with a coil. The magnetic core includes a third core that is arranged between the first core and the second core and has a lower magnetic permeability than the first core.

Magnetic core

An induction device includes a casing, a coil retainer, a coil that is disposed in the casing and retained to the coil retainer and a core that is disposed in the casing. The coil extends spirally around the core. The core and the coil retainer are fixed to the casing separately.

A magnetic core includes a first core and a second core, which is formed of material having a lower magnetic permeability and a higher saturation magnetic flux density than those of the first core. The second core forms a closed magnetic path together with the first core. The second core has a distal surface held in contact with the first core. The area of the distal surface is larger than the smallest cross-sectional area of the second core in a direction perpendicular to the flow direction of magnetic flux in the closed magnetic path.

Magnetic core and induction device

An induction device includes a first core made of a ferrite material, a second core made of a material having a lower magnetic permeability than the ferrite material and a higher saturation magnetic flux density than the ferrite material, a cooling device and a coil. The first core and the second core cooperate to form a closed magnetic circuit. The first core includes a contact surface cooled by the cooling device and a first magnetic leg extending so as to intersect with the contact surface and toward the second core. The second core includes a second magnetic leg extending so as to intersect with the contact surface and toward the first core and disposed to be wound around by the coil.

An electronic device includes a shielding member, an electric circuit, and a filter capacitor. The electric circuit has an output line and is arranged inside the shielding member. The filter capacitor is arranged outside the shielding member to be connected to the output line.

Electronic device

A magnetic core includes a first core having a recess and a second core, which has a first end portion and a second end portion both held in contact with the first core and forms a closed magnetic path with the first core. The second core is formed of material having a lower magnetic permeability and a higher saturation magnetic flux density than those of the first core. The second end portion includes a distal surface having an area larger than the cross-sectional area of the first end portion in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which a magnetic flux flows in the closed magnetic path. The distal surface of the second end portion is held in contact with the first core and the first end portion is engaged with the recess in the first core.

An active clamp DC-DC converter includes a transformer having a primary coil and a secondary coil, a main switching device connected in series to the primary coil of the transformer so that the main switching device and the primary coil are connected in parallel to a DC power source, a reset capacitor, a reset switching device connected in series to the reset capacitor so that the reset switching device and the reset capacitor are connected in parallel to the primary coil of the transformer, a rectifying circuit connected to the secondary coil of the transformer, a smoothing circuit connected to the rectifying circuit, and a control circuit adjusting a dead time that elapses from the time when the reset switching device is turned off until the time when the main switching device is turned on, based on a voltage across the main switching device.

Active clamp DC-DC converter

A current-fed full-bridge DC-DC converter includes a current source circuit including a direct-current voltage source circuit and a reactor connected to the direct-current voltage source circuit in series, an inverter circuit including switching elements, input terminals and output terminals, wherein outputs of the current source circuit are connected to the input terminals, a transformer having a primary coil that is connected to the output terminals and a secondary coil and a rectifier circuit which is connected to the secondary coil and through which the current-fed full-bridge DC-DC converter generates direct-current output. The current-fed full-bridge DC-DC converter further includes a capacitor connected to the output terminal and the primary coil in series and a controller controlling on/off operations of the switching elements so that a current can flow from the current source circuit through the primary coil and the capacitor in stopping of the current-fed full-bridge DC-DC converter.

Current-fed full-bridge DC-DC converter

A magnetic core includes a first core and a second core made of a material whose magnetic permeability is smaller than that of the first core and having an end. The end of the second core is in contact with the first core so that the first core and the second core cooperate to form a closed magnetic circuit. The area of contact between the end of the second core and the first core is larger than the area of the cross-section of the end as taken perpendicularly to the extending direction of the end of the second core.

Radiating structure of induction device

A transformerhas a first core CR, a second core CR, a first transformer primary winding W, a coil, a coiland a coil. The second core CRis integrally formed with the first core CR. The first transformer primary winding Wis wound onto the first core CR. The coilis wound onto the first core CRand forms a transformer Ttogether with the first transformer primary winding W. The coilis wound around the first core CRand forms a transformer Ttogether with the first transformer primary winding W. The coilis connected to the coiland coiland forms an output coil using the second core CRas a magnetic core.

Transformer

A DC-DC converter using a plurality of transformers capable of decreasing the loss, preventing heat generation of transformers, and improving the heat transfer property of the core, and an integrated type transformer used in this DC-DC converter. A terminal Tin which a negative electromotive force is generated and a terminal TRin which a positive electromotive force is generated, while a switching element Qis conducting, are connected at a node N. An output coil Land output terminals TOand TOare provided on a current route shared by transformers Tand T. Diodes Dand Dare respectively inserted in a forward direction from a node Ntoward a terminal TRand in a forward direction from the node Ntoward a terminal TR. An operation of a first transformer and an operation of a second transformer are respectively assigned to a flyback operation and a forward operation.
