A gearbox for a vehicle includes a primary shaft configured to rotate about a first axis, a distribution gear, a transmission gear arranged around the primary shaft, an auxiliary shaft configured to rotate around a second axis, an auxiliary output gear and an auxiliary transmission gear arranged around the auxiliary shaft, an output gear arranged around the primary shaft for transmitting a power out of the gearbox, and a gear shift system slidable between at least two positions. The gear shift system is configured to rotationally engage the distribution gear and the output gear for transmitting the power directly from the primary shaft to the output gear, or the distribution gear and the transmission gear for transmitting the power indirectly from the primary shaft to the output gear through the auxiliary shaft.

An axle system () for a vehicle comprises: —a differential unit () including a first housing () and a second housing () which rotationally receives at least part of said first housing; —at least one drive shaft () having one end configured to be connected to a wheel of the vehicle and one end connected to the differential unit () and rotationally received in the first housing (), the drive shaft () including at least one joint () connecting two portions () of the drive shaft () to transmit rotary motion between said portions; —a first bearing () secured around the drive shaft (), placed between the drive shaft and the first housing (), having an outer diameter (D) smaller than the radial dimension (D) of the joint (); —a second bearing () placed between the first housing () and the second housing (); —at least one tightening member () to axially lock the first bearing outer ring () relative to the first housing (). The tightening member comprises at least one manoeuvring portion () which is arranged in an offset relation relative to the joint (), when looking axially towards the differential unit (), so that the tightening member manoeuvring portion () is visible and accessible, at least during a tightening phase of an axle system mounting process.

Assembly for a differential unit of a vehicle

A supporting device to be secured in a housing of an axle unit includes a main portion in the shape of a ring having a longitudinal axis and forming a circular opening intended to receive an outer ring of a bearing which, in use, is mounted on a differential housing. The supporting device further includes a collector capable of collecting lubricant projected inside the housing by at least one rotating part, in use, the collector including an outlet port for allowing lubricant to flow towards the longitudinal axis.

Disclosed is an assembly to be mounted at an end portion of an axle of a vehicle, the axle including a differential carrier housing containing a differential and drive shafts, each having one end connected to the differential and a second end to connect to a wheel of the vehicle. The assembly includes a cover to be mounted at the end portion of the axle and fastened to a wheel hub, and a stop elastically compressible in the axial direction and fastened to the cover so as to face and contact one end face of a drive shaft. The stop includes a first part having a first cross-section Sand configured to absorb in compression axial movements of the drive shaft, and a second part having a second cross-section Ssmaller than the first cross-section Sand configured to provide a substantially point contact with the drive shaft end face.
