A connector element (), for a quick connect coupling to a terminal () having an interface () with a cylindrical enclosure, the connector element with a body delimiting an inner passage () for the fluid. In order for the connector to be able to be coupled reliably with terminals of variable dimensions and interface quality, the invention provides that the body has a conical portion () and that the connector element () has a movable bush (), an elastic return member (), which applies an elastic return force (F) on the bush (), and clamping pads () received in a respective housing () of the bush (), the clamping pads being translated radially relative to the bush by mechanical cooperation with the conical portion, between a radial withdrawn position and a radial clamping position, to cooperate mechanically with the interface.

Connector element

A connector element comprising a body, a locking mechanism and a seal. The seal comprises a base arranged facing, backward to a proximal surface and facing, forward to a distal surface of the body, as well as a lip. The lip extends parallel to a longitudinal axis of the body and forward, protruding from the base and defining a free front edge. The seal presents a peripheral notch that is arranged, radially to the longitudinal axis, between the base and the lip, which opens to the front of the seal and a bottom of which is delimited on the rear by a joining portion of the seal connecting the base and the lip. The seal is configured to press backward against the proximal surface, in alignment with the free front edge of the lip, according to a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis.

Female fluid connector element and fluid connector comprising such an element

Quick-coupling female element. The female element includes a nipple configured for being fitted into a hose and which is rigidly attached to a hollow body extending along a longitudinal axis and which defines a receiving volume. Radial openings provided in the body along a guide axis emerge into the receiving volume and each receive a lock which is guided in translation between a locking position and an unlocking position. The female element includes an operating ring mounted to slide around the body between a locking position and an unlocking position and which comprises guide grooves which cooperate with pins of each lock. The guide grooves associated with each lock are geometrically supported by a guide plane inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis, so that each lock is driven between the locking and unlocking positions thereof when the operating ring is moved between the locking and unlocking positions thereof.

Quick-coupling female element

A coupling element for a terminal with cylindrical shell includes a coupling body; a valve; a barrel body movable in translation; clamping tabs, moved by cooperation with a tapered portion of the coupling body, between initial and clamping radial positions; means of transmission. The barrel body or the clamping tabs being apt to drive the valve via the means of transmission, from a forward position of closing of the body to a rear open position, when the clamping tabs move from the initial radial position to the radial clamping position; and a port in the coupling body letting through the means of transmission when the valve is in the rear position.

Coupling element for a fluidic connection to a terminal

This coupling element has a body and a nozzle. The body delimits a housing for partially receiving the nozzle. The nozzle has a tubular part and a flange received in the housing. Two sealing barriers formed by at least one sealing joint are interposed between a rear surface of the flange and a front face of the body, between a front surface of the flange and a rear face of the body, respectively. A plug caps an inner conduit. Portions of the inner conduit communicate through at least one passage opening into an inner volume of the nozzle, forward of the plug, and on an outer peripheral surface of the flange. An inner chamber is separated from the inner conduit by the body, the flange, the plug and the first sealing barrier.

Male or female fluid coupling element and fluid coupling including such an element

A quick coupling () includes a male element and a female element, each with a male or female tubular body, a distal mouth and a movable shutter or a plunger and a spool. A first seal is partially housed in the male tubular body and rests radially on a cylindrical surface of the movable shutter in an advanced position. A second seal rests radially on a cylindrical wall of the plunger. The first seal includes a front surface which is further advanced than a first edge plane along a longitudinal axis of the male tubular body. The second seal includes a front surface which is further advanced than a second edge plane along a longitudinal axis of the female tubular body. The first and second front surfaces contact each other when the male and female elements are fitted together.

Quick coupling and connection assembly comprising such a quick coupling

This female element of a quick connector that connects to a male element and has a hollow body, which extends along an insertion axis and which delimits a receiving volume for the male element. Radial openings, formed in the body along a radial axis, open into the receiving volume. Each radial opening receives a latch, translatable in relation to the body along the corresponding radial axis, between a locked and an unlocked position. The female element has an actuating ring arranged about the body and translatable between a locked and an unlocked position. The ring has guide grooves, which interact with pins of each latch. The guide grooves associated with each latch are geometrically carried by a guide plane inclined in relation to the insertion axis so that each latch is driven between its locked and unlocked positions when the actuating ring is moved between its locked and unlocked positions.

Female element of a quick connector, and quick connector comprising such a female element and an associated male element

A fluid coupling includes a male element and a female element, which has a gear reduction member and a main body defining a main inner channel, a plunger, and a slide valve movable between a closed configuration and an open configuration. The slide valve has an outer slide valve and an inner slide valve. In the closed configuration, the outer slide valve is in a forward position and the inner slide valve is in a forward position contacting the outer slide valve and the plunger. In the open configuration, the outer slide valve is in a withdrawn position and the inner slide valve is in an offset position. The gear reduction member is disengaged from a front stop surface on the main body, a rear stop surface on the outer slide valve, or a front stop surface on the inner slide valve during a coupling phase.

Fluid coupling

This fluidic coupling (R) comprises a male element (A) comprising a male body (), a valve () and a spring () pushing the valve () back toward its closed position, and a female element (B) having a sealing gasket (), a piston (), a slide valve () mounted around the piston () between a closed position, in which the sealing gasket () cooperates with the slide valve () and the slide valve () cooperates sealably with the piston (), and a retracted open position. In a coupling phase, the male body () pushes the slide valve () back toward its open position and the piston () pushes the valve () back toward its open position. The piston () is mounted with the possibility of movement between a rear position and a forward position. The female element (B) comprises a lever () for converting the movement of the slide valve () into movement of the piston (). During the coupling, from the closed position of the slide valve () to an offset position of the slide valve (), in which the male body () cooperates with the sealing gasket () of the female body (), the lever () is disengaged from the slide valve () and/or the piston (), and the piston () is in the rear position. From the offset position of the slide valve () to the open position of the slide valve (), the lever () is engaged with the slide valve () and with the piston (), and moves the piston () toward its forward position. In the coupled configuration, the piston () is in its forward position and extends partially in the male body (), a fluid passage being formed around the piston ().

Fluidic coupling

A fluid coupling element including a base body having a central axis (X-X) in which a complementary fluid coupling element is selectively received, and wherein a locking ring includes a locking ball that is capable of locking the complementary fluid coupling element relative to the base body locking ball is movable radially in the body between a locking position of the complementary fluid coupling element and an unlocking position and wherein an actuating ball of the locking ring is adapted to be pushed into an elongated housing of the base body by the complementary fluid coupling element so as to move the locking ring axially from a locking position, wherein the locking ball is locked in the locking position, to a release position and a spring for returning the locking ring to the locking position and wherein the actuating ball has a diameter greater than a diameter of the locking ball.

A fluidic connector including a connecting element and a mated connecting element wherein the connecting element includes a body defining a flow channel, a locking device for axially locking the body with a body of the mated element and a sealing ring that is displaced between a closed position, when the connector is in uncoupled configuration, and an open position wherein fluid can flow in the connector and wherein the sealing ring includes a housing that receives a coupling member which in a first position attaches the body of the connecting element with the sealing ring in the closed position, and which in a second position attaches the body of the mated connecting element with the sealing ring in the open position.

Male and female fluidic coupling with force reducing locking and unlocking

This electrical connector (R) comprises a first connection element () and a second connection element (). The two connection elements () are able to be coupled to one another according to a coupling axis and comprise at least one pin and at least one respective contact, a locking mechanism () comprising at least one locking pin () arranged on a body of the first connection element () and at least one locking ring () mounted rotatingly around a body of the second connection element () and comprising a locking groove () with an outlet () and a locking notch (), means for indexing making it possible to position the bodies in relation to one another around the coupling axis in an indexed configuration. The second connection element () comprises a safety ring () mounted axially mobile in relation to the locking ring () and comprising at least one safety catch (). In addition, the safety ring () is able to be pushed back by the locking pin () during coupling between, a first position, wherein the safety catch () blocks the passage of the pin towards the outlet (), and a second position, wherein the safety catch () authorises the passage of the pin, with the safety ring () being drawn back elastically to its first position. In addition, each locking groove () comprises at the front, a chamfer delimiting the outlet and the rotation range of the locking ring is limited. Finally, in the indexed configuration of the bodies, the axis of travel (X-X) of the pin () intersects the outlet () over the entire the rotation range of the locking ring.

Electrical connector with automatic engagement

A connector for removably connecting two fluid channels which includes a first element and a second element that fit into one another and wherein the first element includes a body connected with the second element when the second element and the first element are at least partially fitted into one another following a combined relative rotational and translational movement, by a first link between at least one locking pin and at least one locking slot, and wherein the first element includes a single ring mounted around the body and wherein the body and the ring are linked following a combined relative rotational and translational movement by a second link between at least one guiding pin and at least one guiding slot.

Connector designed to removably connect two fluid channels

A female coupling element for releasably joining pipes and which receives a male element along a longitudinal axis thereof, and which includes a body, a locking ring secured in translation relative to the body and provided with at least one slot for receiving at least one radially projecting portion of the male element, and at least one locking notch for receiving the projecting portion in a configuration in which the projecting portion is locked axially along the longitudinal axis, a safety ring superposed, at least in part, on the locking ring, and the safety ring including at least one elastic member that is deformable between a first configuration in which the member prevents the projecting portion of the male element moving out of a locking notch and a second configuration in which the member allows the projecting portion to move from the locking notch.
