A rotary compressor is provided that may include a casing, a cylinder, a main bearing, a sub bearing, a rotational shaft, a roller, and at least one vane. The cylinder may include at least one elastic deformation unit to absorb impact with the at least one vane. With this structure, a collision force caused due to chattering of the at least one vane may be absorbed to suppress or prevent friction loss and/or wear between the cylinder and the vane, thereby enhancing compressor efficiency, reducing vibration noise, and enabling fast initial actuation.

Rotary compressor

A rotary compressor is disclosed. The rotary compressor may include a casing, a cylinder, main and sub bearings, a rotational shaft, a roller, at least one vane, and a vane support portion that axially supports the at least one vane formed on a bearing surface to extend along a reciprocating direction of the at least one vane from an inner circumferential surface of at least one back pressure pocket at an end of circumferential ends of the at least one back pressure pocket, adjacent to a contact point, and/or protrude axially from the inner circumferential surface of the at least one back pressure pocket and extend in a circumferential direction. This may secure a wide axial support area for a rear end of the at least one vane passing the contact point and/or near the contact point, to suppress or prevent axial tilting of the at least one vane, thereby reducing friction loss, wear, and vibration noise due to the axial tilting of the at least one vane during operation of the compressor.

Rotary compressor with vane support portion to suppress or prevent axial vane tilting

A rotary compressor is provided that may include at least one vane that is slidably inserted into at least one vane slot provided in a roller or a cylinder so as to separate a compression space into a plurality of compression chambers. The at least one vane has an at least one oil supply groove formed in at least one of axial side surfaces, respectively, facing a main bearing and a sub bearing. The at least one oil supply groove may be longer in a longitudinal direction of the at least one vane than in a widthwise direction of the at least one vane. With this structure, it is possible to suppress friction loss and wear on a friction surface by supplying oil to the friction surface in contact with the at least one vane.

A rotary compressor is provided that may include a casing having an oil storage space; a cylinder; a main bearing and a sub bearing; a rotary shaft; a roller having a vane slot and a back pressure chamber; and at least one vane. An oil supply hole that communicates the back pressure chamber with the oil storage space may pass through the main bearing or the sub bearing, or through the roller. Accordingly, as high-pressure oil is supplied directly to a rear end surface of the vane, it is possible to increase efficiency of the compressor by increasing a back pressure on the vane and suppressing a delay in starting the compressor, and it is also possible to reduce collision noise and wear in the vane and the cylinder by suppressing vibration of the vane.

A rotary compressor may include a cylinder having an inner peripheral surface that defines a compression space, and provided with a suction port configured to communicate with the compression space and through which refrigerant is suctioned into the compression space; a roller rotatably provided in the compression space of the cylinder, and having a plurality of vane slots that provides a back pressure at one side thereinside and provided at a predetermined interval along an outer peripheral surface of the roller; and a plurality of vanes slidably inserted into the vane slots, respectively, and configured to rotate together with the roller, front end surfaces of which come into contact with the cylinder due to the back pressure to partition the compression space into a plurality of compression chambers. High-pressure refrigerant may be accommodated between one of the vanes and the cylinder.

A rotary compressor may include an outflow passage through which refrigerant flows out of a compression space. The outflow passage may include at least one first outflow guide portion disposed in a main bearing or a sub bearing, at least one second outflow guide portion formed through between both axial ends of a roller, and at least one third outflow guide portion disposed in a bearing opposite to the bearing with the at least one first outflow guide portion based on the roller. This may minimize an amount of refrigerant remaining in the compression space. A pressure difference on a front of a vane may also be eliminated, which may suppress or prevent vane jumping. As the outflow passage is periodically opened, refrigerant leakage may be suppressed or prevented during a compression stroke.

A hermetic compressor includes a casing, a cylinder in the casing, a first bearing and a second bearing defining a compression space together with the cylinder, a roller located at an eccentric position with respect to an inner surface of the cylinder and configured to vary a volume of the compression space, and a vane inserted into the roller to rotate together with the roller, and drawn out toward the inner surface of the cylinder to divide the compression space into compression chambers. An inlet port in communication with the compression space is defined in the first bearing, and an intermediate plate is located between the cylinder and the inlet port and defines a suction passage connected to the inlet port, where a peripheral length of an inner peripheral surface of the suction passage is greater than a peripheral length of an outer peripheral surface of the suction passage.

A rotary compressor is provided that may include a rotational shaft, first and second bearings configured to support the rotational shaft in a radial direction, a cylinder disposed between the first and second bearings to form a compression space, a rotor disposed in the compression space and coupled to the rotational shaft to compress a refrigerant as the rotor rotates, and at least one vane slidably inserted into the rotor, the at least one vane coming into contact with an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder to separate the compression space into a plurality of regions. The at least one vane may include a pin that extends in an axial direction, and at least one of the first bearing and the second bearing may include a rail groove into which the pin may be inserted.

A rotary compressor is provided that may include a cylinder having an inner circumferential surface with an annular shape to form a compression space; a roller having a plurality of vane slots disposed at predetermined intervals along an outer circumferential surface thereof, and rotatably inserted into the compression space of the cylinder; and a plurality of vanes slidably inserted into the respective vane slots to rotate together with the roller and by which the compression space is divided into a plurality of compression chambers. At least one of the vane slots is unequally spaced in a circumferential direction. Accordingly, periodicity of noise may be reduced to thereby increase the effect of noise reduction of the compressor.

A rotary compressor is provided that may include a rotational shaft, first and second bearings configured to support the rotational shaft in a radial direction, a cylinder disposed between the first and second bearings to form a compression space, a rotor disposed in the compression space and coupled to the rotational shaft to compress a refrigerant as the rotor rotates, and at least one vane slidably inserted into the rotor, the at least one vane coming into contact with an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder to separate the compression space into a plurality of regions. At least one of the first bearing and the second bearing may include first and second pockets formed on a surface facing the rotor, and at least one of the first pocket and the second pocket may be formed in an asymmetrical shape.

A rotary compressor may include a casing, a cylinder, a main bearing, a sub bearing, a rotational shaft, a roller having at least one vane slot and a back pressure chamber, and at least one vane. The roller may include at least one spring insertion groove formed in an inner end portion of the at least one vane slot in a lengthwise direction of the at least one vane slot, and a vane spring that supports a rear surface of the vane toward an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder may be disposed in the at least one spring insertion groove. Accordingly, elastic force may be supplied to the rear surface of the vane, to suppress or prevent trembling of the vane caused while the vane passes through a proximal portion during operation.

A hermetic compressor is provided that may include a vane that is inserted into a roller, rotates with the roller, and is pushed out toward an inner circumference of a cylinder by rotation of the roller to divide the compression chamber into a plurality of spaces. The vane may include a body having a sealing surface that contacts the inner circumference of the cylinder and inserted into the roller; and a guide that extends from an axial end of the body in a direction crossing a direction the vane slides out, and that is slidably inserted into a guide groove formed on at least one of the first bearing or the second bearing to restrain the vane from sliding out of the roller toward the inner circumference of the cylinder.

A rotary compressor is provided that may include a rotational shaft including at least one protrusion formed on an outer peripheral surface, first and second bearings configured to support the rotational shaft in a radial direction, a cylinder disposed between the first and second bearings to form a compression space, a rotor disposed in the compression space and coupled to the rotational shaft to compress a refrigerant as the rotor rotates, and at least one vane slidably inserted into the rotor, the at least one vane coming into contact with an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder to separate the compression space into a plurality of regions. A vane rotary compressor has a cylinder. A main bearing and a sub bearing are coupled to the cylinder forming a compression space. The main and sub bearing each have a back pressure pocket on a surface facing the cylinder. The main bearing and the sub bearing radially support a rotation shaft. A roller coupled to the shaft is disposed within the compression space. The roller has circumferentially spaced vane slots, each vane slot extending from an open end on an outer circumferential surface of the roller to a back pressure chamber disposed within the roller at an opposite end of each vane slot. A plurality of vanes slide within the vane slots and divide the compression space into compression chambers. At least one of the back pressure chambers in the vane slots fluidly communicates with at least one of the back pressure pockets in the main and sub bearings.
