A bio-processor, a bio-signal detecting system, and an operation method of the bio-processor are provided. The bio-processor includes a bioelectrical impedance sensor and a digital signal processor. The bioelectrical impedance sensor measures bioelectrical impedance during a sensing time including a portion of a settling time. The digital signal processor estimates a settled bioelectrical impedance value based on changes in the measured bioelectrical impedance. The digital signal processor generates bio-data based on the settled bioelectrical impedance value. The bio-processor reduces a time when a bio-signal is measured and ensures accuracy of the settled bioelectrical impedance value.

Systems and methods are described for registering a fingerprint based on optical fingerprint recognition. A fingerprint recognition window is displayed and a fingerprint frequency of a user fingerprint is analyzed based on reflected light received through the fingerprint recognition window using a fingerprint recognition sensor driven by a pixel binning scheme based on a first binning size. The first binning size may be evaluated based on the fingerprint frequency. If the first binning size is not appropriate for registering the user fingerprint, a second binning size is selected. The method includes determining a reference sleep pattern among a plurality of sleep patterns based on sleep time information of a user or basic information of the user, analyzing a sleep state of the user based on biometric information of the user, comparing the reference sleep pattern with the sleep state, determining a sleep environmental condition when the reference sleep pattern is different from the sleep state, and controlling the home device based on the determined sleep environmental condition.
