A display panel includes: a substrate having a main display area, an auxiliary display area, and a peripheral area, the auxiliary display area having a circuit area and a component area; main display elements arranged in the main display area and main pixel circuits respectively connected to the main display elements; first display elements arranged in the component area; second display elements arranged in the circuit area; and auxiliary pixel circuits arranged in the circuit area, wherein the circuit area is arranged between the main display area and the component area, the auxiliary pixel circuits include: first pixel circuits connected to the first display elements, respectively; and second pixel circuits connected to the second display elements, respectively, and at least some of the second display elements overlap the first pixel circuits.

Display panel and display apparatus including the same

A display apparatus including a main display area, a component area, and a peripheral area, the display apparatus includes: a substrate; an auxiliary sub-pixel arranged in the component area on the substrate; an auxiliary pixel circuit arranged in the peripheral area on the substrate; a connection line connecting the auxiliary sub-pixel to the auxiliary pixel circuit; an auxiliary scan line arranged in the peripheral area on the substrate and connected to the auxiliary pixel circuit; and an auxiliary scan driving circuit arranged in the peripheral area on the substrate and configured to output a scan signal to the auxiliary pixel circuit through the auxiliary scan line.

Display apparatus

A display panel may include a first display area, a second display area, and a third display area. A plurality of first light-emitting diodes may be arranged in the first display area, a plurality of second light-emitting diodes and a transmission area may be arranged in the second display area, and a plurality of third light-emitting diodes may be arranged in the third display area. A display device includes a scan line extending in a direction, a data line and a driving voltage line extending in another direction, a transistor electrically connected to the driving voltage line and including a first gate electrode and a first semiconductor layer, a second transistor electrically connected to the scan and data lines and including a second gate electrode and a second semiconductor layer, a first capacitor electrically connected to the first transistor and including first and second capacitor plates, and a second capacitor including a third capacitor plate electrically connected to the first transistor and a fourth capacitor plate electrically connected to the second transistor. The second capacitor plate includes a first hole overlapping the first capacitor plate, the fourth capacitor plate includes a second hole overlapping the third capacitor plate, and a size of the second hole is different from that of the first hole.
