Provided is a laundry treating apparatus comprising a drum including: a drum body defining a space to store laundry therein, a front cover, a rear cover, and a drum introduction opening defined at the front cover and configured to communicate with an inside of the drum body; a drying unit configured to supply heated air to the drum body; a fixing panel; a power transmission unit including: a housing, an input shaft, an output shaft, and a gear unit disposed in the housing and configured to transmit rotational motion of the input shaft to the output shaft; a motor comprising including: a stator, and a rotor; and a heat insulation part made of a material having heat conductivity lower than heat conductivity of the housing and configured to reduce an amount of heat that is transferred from the outside of the housing to an inside of the housing.

Laundry treating apparatus

A laundry treatment apparatus includes a case, a tub configured to accommodate washing water, a drum installed inside the tub and configured to accommodate laundry, a pulsator installed inside the drum and configured to rotate by receiving driving force, and a driver configured to provide driving force for rotating the drum and the pulsator. The driver includes a driving motor including a stator and a rotor, a bearing housing installed at a lower portion of the tub, a dewatering shaft having a lower end disposed adjacent to the rotor and an upper end connected to the drum, a coupler configured to selectively connect the dewatering shaft to the rotor while lifting along an outer circumferential surface of the lower end of the dewatering shaft, a washing shaft positioned inside the dewatering shaft, and an anti-friction member inserted between the dewatering shaft and the washing shaft.

Laundry treatment apparatus

A washing machine includes a casing, an outer tub, an inner tub, a pulsator, and a driving mechanism configured to cause rotation of at least one of the inner tub or the pulsator. The driving mechanism includes a drive motor including a stator and a rotor, a bearing housing located below the outer tub, a hollow spinning shaft coupled to the inner tub, a coupler configured to selectively connect the spinning shaft to the rotor based on moving upward and downward along an outer circumferential surface of the spinning shaft, a washing shaft located in the spinning shaft and configured to rotate the pulsator, where the washing shaft has a lower part connected to the rotor and an upper part connected to the pulsator, and an anti-friction member located between the spinning shaft and the washing shaft and configured to reduce friction between the spinning shaft and the washing shaft.

Washing machine

A washing machine and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. A washing machine includes a casing that defines an outer appearance of the washing machine and an outer tub in the casing that is configured to receive water. A supporting rod is coupled with the casing, and a suspension is coupled with the outer tub, the supporting rod being inserted in the suspension. The suspension is configured to move bi-directionally along the supporting rod as the outer tub vibrates to mitigate vibration of the outer tub, and the suspension includes a frictional part configured to contact the supporting rod. The suspension is configured to apply a lubricating material to a portion of the supporting rod that is brought in contact, during the vibration of the outer tub, with the frictional part of the suspension.

Washing machine and method of manufacturing the same

The present invention relates to a laundry processing apparatus. In particular, the laundry processing apparatus comprises: a cabinet; an outer chamber provided within the cabinet and in which wash water is filled; an inner chamber rotatably provided within the outer chamber to hold laundry; an upper balancer disposed at an upper portion of the inner chamber; and a lower balancer disposed at a lower portion of the inner chamber, wherein either the upper balancer or the lower balancer is a liquid balancer filled with liquid, and the other balancer is a ball balancer having a ball therein, such that the advantages of maximized balancing results and an effective reduction in vibration may be achieved.

A washing machine comprising a cabinet open at an upper portion, a top cover coupled to the upper portion of the cabinet and including an opening for loading and unloading laundry therethrough, a lid assembly rotatably coupled to the top cover to open and close the opening, and a first hinge unit connecting the lid assembly with the top cover and reducing a speed of closing the lid assembly is provided. In the washing machine, the closing speed of the lid assembly is reduced to mitigate shock between the lid assembly and the top cover.

A washing machine which includes a lid assembly opening/closing a laundry entrance hole, wherein the lid assembly includes a lid frame and a lid inner coupled to an inside of the lid frame and having a hinge unit, is provided. The lid assembly may be easily assembled and maintain a secure coupling, thereby allowing for a reliable and stable washing machine. Further, the lid assembly may be easily opened or closed by the hinge unit, and this increases convenience.

A washing machine of the present invention comprises a top cover where a laundry entrance hole is formed through which laundry is put in from above; a lid assembly coupled to the top cover in a rotatable manner and opening and closing the laundry entrance hole; and a stopper being formed at least in one of the top cover and the lid assembly and preventing the lid assembly from being rotated more than a maximum opening angle. The stopper prevents a lid assembly from being rotated more than a maximum opening angle.

A washing machine comprising a cabinet, a top cover arranged at an upper surface of the cabinet and has a laundry entrance hole, wherein the upper surface of the cabinet opens, and a lid assembly arranged at the top cover and opens/closes the laundry entrance hole is provided. A handle is provided at a front side of the lid assembly. The handle protrudes forwards more than the top cover, wherein the handle and the top cover are arranged to be spaced apart from each other in upper and lower directions and in front and rear directions, thereby defining spaces between the handle and the top cover so a user's hand is inserted into the spaces to hold the handle and lifts the lid assembly.
