An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display, a camera module disposed under the display, and a processor configured to control the display and the camera module, and a memory operably connected to the processor. The memory may store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to receive display metrics information that is changed according to the state of the display, produce an under-display camera area corresponding to a position of the camera module, based on the changed display metrics information, produce a logical cutout of the under-display camera area, and update the layout of an application to be executed, based on the cutout.

An electronic device is provided. The processor is configured to: execute the application; receive a frequency event from the application; identify predetermined settings based on the application being executed; determine, based on the frequency event and the predetermined settings, a refresh rate of an execution screen of the application; identify, based on state information of the electronic device and the determined refresh rate, information for controlling operation of a high speed screen; and controlling, based on the identified information, the high speed screen related to the execution screen of the application on the display.

An electronic device may include: a foldable housing; at least one sensor; a first display having a first size and a first pixel density; a second display having a second size and a second pixel density; a processor; and a memory. The memory may store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to control the electronic device to: display at least one first surface image generated based on the window having the first size through the first display; change the size of the window to a third size based on information associated with the first display and the second display in response to detecting a first event through the at least one sensor based on the at least one first surface image being displayed; and display at least one second surface image generated based on the window, of which the size has been changed to the third size, through the second display.
