A linear compressor includes: a shell; a cylinder provided inside the shell; a frame coupled to an outer side of the cylinder; a piston configured to reciprocate in an axial direction; a motor that supplies power to the piston; and a spring mechanism coupled to the piston. The spring mechanism includes: a support connected to the piston and including a spring support unit having one or more insertion holes; a first coupling protrusion that extends from the rear side of the spring support unit along the edge of the insertion hole; a support cap inserted into the insertion hole and including a second coupling protrusion protruding from the front side of the spring support unit; a first resonant spring inserted into the outer circumferential surface of the second coupling protrusion; and a second resonant spring inserted into the outer circumferential surface of the first coupling protrusion.

Linear compressor

A linear compressor is provided that may include a shell having a cylindrical shape, a frame fixed inside the shell, a cylinder inserted to pass through the frame, a piston provided in the cylinder, a motor that linearly reciprocates the piston, and a stator cover coupled to the motor. The stator cover may include a cover body and a reinforcement sleeve bent from an outer edge of the cover body, the reinforcement sleeve having a plurality of protrusions that protrudes in a radial direction from the reinforcement sleeve. A portion of the shell corresponding to a position of each of the plurality of protrusions includes a bulge that protrudes in the radial direction of the shell.

A linear compressor is provided. The linear compressor may include a piston having a first piston groove and a second piston groove.

A linear compressor is provided that may include a casing, a frame accommodated in the casing, a cylinder that passes through a center of the frame, supported by the frame, and defining a compression space for a refrigerant, a piston inserted into the cylinder to reciprocate in an axial direction of the cylinder and having a first end that compresses the refrigerant supplied to the compression space, a suction muffler which is coupled to a second end of the piston and through which the refrigerant supplied to the compression space may flow, a spring that allows a resonant motion of the piston, a back cover including a cover body that defines a refrigerant opening at a central portion, such that a refrigerant passes therethrough, the back cover supporting the spring, and an inflow guide which is fixed to the cover body and guides the refrigerant passing through the refrigerant opening towards an inside of the suction muffler. At least a portion of the inflow guide may be inserted into the suction muffler, and a central axis thereof may be aligned with a central axis of the refrigerant opening.

A linear compressor is provided that may include a shell including a suction inlet, a cylinder provided in the shell to define a compression space for a refrigerant, a piston reciprocated in an axial direction within the cylinder, a discharge valve provided at a first side of the cylinder to selectively discharge the refrigerant compressed in the compression space, at least one nozzle, through which at least a portion of the refrigerant discharged through the discharge valve flows, the at least one nozzle being disposed in the cylinder, and at least one expansion portion that extends from the at least one nozzle to an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder, the at least one expansion portion having a flow cross-section area greater than a flow cross-section area of the at least one nozzle.

A cooling system and a refrigerator including a cooling system are provided. The cooling system may include a linear compressor including a reciprocating piston and a cylinder that accommodates the piston and having an outer circumferential surface, into which a refrigerant may be introduced, a refrigerant filter device provided in the linear compressor to filter the refrigerant introduced into one or more gas inflow of the cylinder, a condenser that condenses the refrigerant compressed in the linear compressor, and a dryer that removes foreign substances or oil from the refrigerant condensed in the condenser. The dryer may include a dryer body including a refrigerant inflow, through which the refrigerant condensed in the condenser may be introduced, and a refrigerant discharge, through which the refrigerant may be discharged, and an adsorption filter accommodated in the dryer body to filter the oil in the refrigerant introduced through the refrigerant inflow.

Cooling system and refrigerator including a cooling system

A linear compressor is provided. The linear compressor may include a shell including a suction inlet, a cylinder provided in the shell to define a compression space for a refrigerant, a piston reciprocated in an axial direction within the cylinder, a discharge valve provided at one side of the cylinder to selectively discharge the refrigerant compressed in the compression space, and at least one nozzle, through which at least a portion of the refrigerant discharged through the discharge valve may flow, the at least one nozzle being disposed in the cylinder. The at least one nozzle may include an inlet, through which the refrigerant may be introduced, and an outlet having a diameter less than a diameter of the inlet.
