A double clutch apparatus for a hybrid electric vehicle having a motor and an engine includes: first and second clutches transmitting a motor torque and an engine torque to first and second input shafts; and first and second slave cylinders disposed at a transmission case and configured to respectively operate the first and second clutches in an axial direction. In particular, a rotor hub of the motor is rotatably supported by an end of a radially interior side of a front cover, and is connected to the first input shaft through a clutch retainer of the second clutch and a first connection member to transmit the motor torque to the first input shaft. In addition, the first and second clutches are disposed in parallel in an interior circumference of the rotor hub to selectively transmit the engine torque to the first and second input shafts, respectively.

A continuously variable transmission for a vehicle may include an input shaft receiving torque of an engine, a first power delivery shaft disposed in parallel with and apart from the input shaft, a variable shift apparatus configured to change rotation speed of the input shaft and transmit the changed rotation speed to the first power delivery shaft, a second power delivery shaft selectively receiving torque of the first power delivery shaft, a third power delivery shaft disposed apart from the second power delivery shaft, a planetary gear set including first, second, and third rotation elements, and an idle gear set operably connecting the input shaft with the first rotation element of the planetary gear set in which the second rotation element is directly connected to the third power delivery shaft and the third rotation element is directly connected to the second power delivery shaft.

A continuously variable transmission apparatus for a vehicle, may include a main shaft configured to receive torque of an engine, a subshaft disposed in parallel with and spaced apart from the main shaft, a reverse speed gear set having a reverse speed gear selectively connected to the main shaft, a first speed gear set having a first speed gear selectively connected to the subshaft, a second speed gear set having a second speed gear selectively connected to the subshaft, a variable shift apparatus engaged with the main shaft and the subshaft and continuously changing a ratio between rotation speeds of the main shaft and the subshaft so as to transmit torque of the main shaft to the subshaft, and an output gear set transmitting torque transmitted from the first speed gear or the second speed gear to a differential through a final reduction gear.
