Provided is an artificial retina system for improving contrast sensitivity. The artificial retina system includes an artificial retina which is installed under the retina and includes a plurality of photodiode cells and a microcomputer. The microcomputer compares, with at least one reference value, the magnitude of an electric signal outputted from a photodiode in each of the photodiode cells. The microcomputer controls to amplify or reduce the electric signal outputted by each of the photodiode cells according to the result of comparison. Visual cells corresponding to each of the photodiode cells can be stimulated with an electric signal controlled by the microcomputer.

A subretinal prosthetic device includes a substrate provided under a retina, a return electrode for receiving a current such that a ground is formed on the substrate, a plurality of stimulating electrodes provided on the substrate and for generating an active potential to an optic nerve in response to external visual information projected onto the retina, and a switch for controlling the current between each of the plurality of stimulating electrodes and the return electrode. The switch is connected between the plurality of stimulating electrodes and the return electrode to ground the plurality of stimulating electrodes to the return electrode in response to an on or off control signal.

The present invention relates to a polylactide resin having excellent heat resistance, a preparation method thereof, and a polylactide resin composition including the same. The polylactide resin is characterized by high polymerization activity owing to an organic coordinated metal catalyst even though it has a low catalyst content, and a molecular weight reduction due to thermal decomposition at high temperature and a rate of thermal decomposition including depolymerization are greatly suppressed by a low catalyst content and a low resin acidity, and thus provided is the polylactide resin having superior heat resistance.
