This method includes forming a light emitting diode on the substrate, forming a light leakage preventing layer to surround the side surface of the light emitting diode, etching a region corresponding to the light emitting diode in the substrate, and bonding a wavelength converting material to a lower portion of the light emitting diode in the etched region, in which the wavelength converting material includes a semiconductor layer including a quantum well layer.

A control method of a display apparatus including a panel configured to include red (R), green (G), and white (W) subpixels, and a backlight configured to provide the panel with backlight using at least one of a white light source and a blue light source, including: converting image data into R, G, and blue (B) subframe data; turning on the R, G, and W subpixels according to the R, G, and B subframe data; and turning on the W subpixel, setting a brightness of the white light source to a brightness value of the R, G, and B subframe data, providing the panel with white light at the set brightness, turning on subpixels corresponding to remaining subframe data, setting at least one of the brightness of the white light source and a brightness of the blue light source, and providing the panel with light at the set brightnesses, is provided.

The display apparatus includes a transmissive image panel configured to display a multi-view image, and a first transmissive backlight panel and the second transmissive backlight panel arranged at a predetermined distance from the transmissive image panel, and the first transmissive backlight panel and the second transmissive backlight panel are in parallel to the transmissive image panel, wherein the first backlight panel distributes the multi-view image in a first viewing zone differently from the second backlight panel distribution of the multi-view image in a second viewing zone.
