A display device includes a front display area (FDA), side display areas (SDAs), and a corner display area (CDA). The SDAs and the CDA are disposed outside of the FDA. The SDAs include: a first SDA disposed at a first side of the FDA; and a second SDA disposed at a second side of the FDA. The CDA is disposed at a corner of the FDA between the first SDA and the second SDA. The CDA is connected to the first SDA and the second SDA. The FDA has a flat display surface. The first SDA, the second SDA, and the CDA respectively form a bent surface. A shape of the bent surface of the CDA is different from a shape of the bent surface of the first SDA and a shape of the bent surface of the second SDA. The CDA is stretchable and/or shrinkable.

Display device

A display module includes a display panel including a first side surface, a first film disposed on the display panel, and including a second side surface, a second film disposed under the display panel, and including a third side surface, a first adhesive layer disposed between the display panel and the first film, and a second adhesive layer disposed between the display panel and the second film, wherein the first side surface of the display panel overlaps the first film and the second film, and at least a portion of the second side surface and at least a portion of the third side surface protrude more than the first side surface, in a plan view.

Display module, and method for manufacturing the same

A display device, includes: a base substrate including a display region and a peripheral region adjacent to the display region; an indicium on the base substrate; and a support below the base substrate, wherein the support includes: a first part and a second part adjacent to the first part, the first part overlapping the alignment mark and including a transparent material, the second part overlapping the display region; and a first adhesive layer between the base substrate and the second part.

A display device includes a window and a display panel attached to the window. The display panel includes a flat display area and a curved display area, and the curved display area may be thinner than the flat display area.

Display device and manufacturing method thereof

A display device includes a display panel and a signal transmission film including a first extension portion, a second extension portion, and a first dummy pattern. The signal transmission film is connected to one side of the display panel. The first extension portion extends in a first direction, and a first contact hole is formed at a first side of the first extension portion. The second extension portion extends from the first side of the first extension portion in a second direction which is different from the first direction. The first dummy pattern is disposed adjacent to the first contact hole at the first side.

A display device is provided. The display device includes: an input sensing member electrically connected to a first bonding pad unit having a first pad; a pressure sensing member electrically connected to a second bonding pad having a second pad; and a display panel disposed between the input sensing member and the pressure sensing member, wherein the first pad is electrically connected to the second pad, a first offset distance between the first and second pads is greater than zero, and the first offset distance is defined as a spacing distance, on a plane, between a side of the first pad and a side of the second pad when the first and second pads are yet to be electrically connected.

A display device includes a first support frame including a first slant surface having a slant angle, a second support frame including a second slant surface symmetrical with and having a same structure as the first slant surface, a display panel on the first and second support frames, and a connection member connecting the first and second support frames to be rotatable around a rotational axis defined by the connection member, wherein the first and second slant surfaces are in areas of upper surfaces of the first and second support frames, respectively, and wherein first areas of the first and second support frames have a larger thickness than second areas of the first and second support frames, respectively, the first areas being adjacent to first sides of the first and second slant surfaces, and the second areas being adjacent to second sides of the first and second slant surfaces.

A display device includes: a display panel curved in one direction; and a middle frame supporting a lower edge portion of the display panel. The middle frame includes: a first support having a predetermined curvature; and a second support extending at a predetermined angle from the first support, the first support having a height difference at an end portion.
