This is a system and method of processing multiple video streams for a computing device. The system may comprise: a central processing device; a communications bus connected to the central processing device; an input device connected to the central processing device by the communications bus; an output device connected to the central processing device by the communications bus; a multiple video stream processor connected to the output device by the communications bus; and at least two video streams connected to the multiple video stream processor. In addition, the video streams may include input from a CD-ROM, PCMCIA cards, storage devices, peripherals on docking stations and other communications devices. Moreover, multiple video processing device may include input from zoom video ports, buffers and digital-to-analog converters, and a reformatting device. Other devices and systems are also disclosed.

This is a locking system for a computing device. The system may comprise: a processor connected to a system bus; an input connected to the processor by the system bus; an output connected to the processor by the system bus; and a module that inserts into the computing device and is connected to the system bus; and a locking mechanism that locks and releases the module to and from the computing device. The locking mechanism may include: a primary lever which engages the module; a manual button which moves the primary lever and disengages the primary lever from the module; a pin that moves from a blocking position in front of the manual button to a non-blocking position clear of the manual button; and a solenoid that controls movement of the pin. Disclosed herein is a portable computer docking station having a base with an electrical connector and a rotatable member. The base houses various electrical devices such as a battery power supply and memory storage devices. The rotatable member folds between a first extended position and a second extended position about an axis parallel to the base, for respectively receiving and locking the base with a portable computer. When the base locks with the portable computer, the electrical connector of the base connects with the portable computer for interconnecting the electrical devices housed in the base with the portable computer. The rotatable member includes a pair of audio speakers.
