A method of displaying a three-dimensional ('3D') image includes displaying a left-eye image and a right-eye image on a display panel, the display panel including a first sub pixel, a second sub pixel, a third sub pixel and a fourth sub pixel sequentially arranged in a row direction and driving an active barrier panel to form an opening part configured to transmit light and a barrier configured to block light, the active barrier panel including a first barrier electrode, a second barrier electrode, a third barrier electrode and a fourth barrier electrode respectively corresponding to the first, second, third and fourth sub pixels.

Method of displaying a three dimensional stereoscopic image and a display apparatus for performing the method

A liquid crystal composition according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a liquid crystal compound represented by a below chemical formula (I) at about 10 wt % to about 15 wt %; and at least one liquid crystal compound at about 3 wt % to about 8 wt % among liquid crystal compounds represented by chemical formula (II) to chemical formula (IV). Here, X and Y may be equal to each other or different from each other, and each is an alkyl group or an alkenyl group having a carbon number of 1 to 4.

Liquid crystal display

A liquid crystal display (LCD) which can be driven at a low voltage and has a fast response time. The LCD includes a liquid crystal composition interposed between a first substrate and a second substrate, wherein the liquid crystal composition includes a first polar liquid crystal compound and a second polar liquid crystal compound, each in an amount of 20% or less by weight based on a weight of the liquid crystal composition, wherein the first polar liquid crystal compound is represented by and the second polar liquid crystal compound is represented by at least one of where each of R1, R2, and R3, and R4 independently is an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, or an alkenyl group having about 2 to about 15 carbon atoms.

A display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. The first substrate includes a switching element connected to a gate line and a data line crossing each other, and a pixel electrode electrically connected to the switching element. The pixel electrode includes a first domain-dividing portion extending in a direction. The second substrate is spaced apart from the first substrate to have a cell gap of about 3.1 &#x3bc;m to about 3.3 &#x3bc;m. The second substrate includes a common electrode including a second domain dividing portion formed in a region between the first domain-dividing portions adjacent to each other. The liquid crystal layer is interposed between the first and second substrates. The liquid crystal layer includes a liquid crystal composition having a refractive anisotropy (&#x394;n) of about 0.1010 to about 0.1030.

A liquid crystal includes about 50 wt % to about 65 wt % of a negative compound material, and about 40 wt % to about 50 wt % of a neutral compound material. A liquid crystal display apparatus comprises a first substrate having a pixel area, a second substrate facing the first substrate, and a plurality of liquid crystals disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein each liquid crystal comprises about 50 wt % to about 65 wt % of a negative compound material having a dielectric anisotropy of a negative polarity, and about 40 wt % to about 50 wt % of a neutral compound material.

Liquid crystals and liquid crystal display apparatus employing the same

An end-sealant composition for a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel includes an acrylic polymer resin, a polymeric photoinitiator polymerized into an acrylic chain, and an acryl-philic coupling agent. The end-sealant composition exhibits reduced diffusion into the liquid crystals during an end-sealant forming process. Image defects such as stains around fill ports and incidental images are thereby prevented, so that high quality displays can be prepared. Use of the end-sealant composition can provide high performance for high dielectric constant liquid crystals that are widely used in the fabrication of liquid crystal display panels.

The present invention relates to the structure of a bipolar plate for direction methanol fuel cell, the shape of a flow path and a fuel cell including them, more particularly, to the structure of a bipolar plate for direct methanol fuel cell using a flow path with a dispersion structure not the existing serpentine type for supplying a fuel to the new bipolar plate and functioning as a collector and the shape of a flow path. According to the present invention, a fluid flow resistance is decreased and a direct reaction region of a fluid and an electrode catalyst is increased in a bipolar plate, and therefore the performance of a fuel Cell can be improved.
